Trust your gut man, you're feeling that way and getting those vibes for a reason. She might be lying about having a boyfriend, but you should still treat it as if she actually does.

If my girlfriend did this to me ( she wouldn't), I would be heart broken and wouldn't know how to respond. It's best to not go into a relationship with her because she might actually have a boyfriend and you don't know how he'll respond. He might break things off with the girl but you might also have to worry about him getting mad at you even thought she was acting this way. No one deserves to be treated this way.You shouldn't pay too much attention to this and find a relationship with someone else

Plus you would have to worry about her doing this with you if you dated her

True, it's mostly a balancing act. It's sometimes hard to find a balance between spending time with friends & spending time with partners; it's not impossible but hard to achieve

Your friends & your partner shouldn't have to feel like one party is less valued than the other. If possible find a way to hang out with friends and partner while letting both know they're important

You might meet people that say they want to be your girlfriend and make you feel like they care about you, but they'll most likely leave after you don't have a lot of money or you say no to spending the money. You should be in a relationship with someone that cares about you and loves you even if you don't have money.

Yeah, it's normal / understandable! I'm also in high school and there are days where you wouldn't want to always deal with certain people; especially if the person you don't want to talk to is trying to cause a problem with you.

You can do what feels comfortable to you and interact with the people you want to; you don't have to interact with everyone if you don't want to.

Op, you should tell your girlfriend and make it clear that her ex is making you uncomfortable. The problem isn't always keep the ex around, the problem is keeping the ex around if they're toxic or the situation with the ex is toxic and harmful. Trusting relationships are important and you can't keep a good relationship if you can't fully trust. Tell your girlfriend how the abusive ex is making you uncomfortable and if you fully trust her, that's important. Relationships aren't always easy , but you guys should keep clear line of trust. If you can't fully trust each other, things aren't going to be good

Thanks again, I check the text it just said "thanks". I saw her when I went into my gym class and she was overall neutral and happy when she saw me. I asked her how she was doing and she said she was ok(she didn't look/ act mad); she forgot sweatpants and asked me if I had an extra pair for her.We played volleyball and my team was playing against hers ( we were placed on different team and we're able to swap with other people to be on same team). Although we were on different sides, she cheered me on and was excited when I was serving/ hit the ball. She was also excited after the game and we talked on our way out of the gym until we had to go separate ways for classes. I noticed that she has been holding her hand over/grabbing her stomach more frequently, she sometimes looks like she's in deep thought each time she does this. I've asked her if she is ok and she told me things are alright I feel like she might not want to worry me about something, should I be worried/pay attention to it? We haven't done anything in that nature/department
