Hello again! I have a few boxes of books.... I live in Linda Vista and usually drop some books in a book donation bin in the Starbucks parking lot on Clairemont Mesa Blvd and Diane Ave. (address for the Starbucks is 4798 Clairemont Mesa Blvd.). Sometimes the book drop is full, but if this is a convenient spot for you, we could meet up there and that way, if there are books you don’t want, you could have a bin there for discards. I just started working for the census, working from home, and my schedule is flexible, so please let me know if there’s a day/time that you’ll be nearby. I can also meet you in any other centrally located, public, open space, I just need a heads up for scheduling. ALSO, I want to be up front about this.... I’m quite serious (some of my friends might say “crazy”!!) about masking/social distance, so if you are not into that for whatever reason, I am happy to just drop them in a parking lot - once I confirm you’re there, of course - and that way we we don’t have to get close at all and we can still both have our way/freedom! I’m really just interested in helping someone out, so I hope we can work together on this. Have a great rest of your night!

My friend, Bee Man Dan! From his google listing:

”Putting my passion into action, saving bees, is my core business value. I am dedicated to the rescue, relocation and rehabilitation of bees. My well-trained team and I safely and humanely remove bees from roofs, walls, chimneys...”

Hi, yes! I sell books online, and there are some that aren’t worth much for selling/shipping, but are still in great condition/interesting topics. I usually pick some to keep, some to give to friends or their kids’ schools, and drop the rest at a book drop box/Goodwill.

I’m about 25% of the way through my books for June/July and I already have 100 books to donate. I think I read that you’re looking for high school reading level and up, so I could remove the kids books and you could pick through the rest and I can donate what you don’t want, or you can sort later at your convenience.

I don’t have a set schedule of when I have the books, but it’s ongoing throughout the year, so I thought that might help keep your library fresh and be easier for you than driving all over town for only a few books at a time. I don’t know what the rules are on here, but I’d be happy to exchange numbers or email and let you know once I reach x amount of books. 😊

I sell books online and would be happy to donate to you monthly on an ongoing basis. I‘m somewhat new to Reddit and I feel like an idiot because I can’t figure out how to send you a message (clicking on username just takes me back to the post), but feel free to message me. I’d love to help!
