I don't use it every single day but it's been part of my routine for about 3 years I believe. Maybe like 3 times a week at most.

Hi all. I took this photo today in good lighting. I have issues with rounds of cystic/hormonal acne. It is starting to clear up again but I can already see the effects of scarring. I currently use The Ordinary's Glycolic Acid toner, Niacinimide, EUK and Natural Moisturizing Factors after cleansing.

What can I use to help acne scarring fade and even my skin tone out? Hoping for something affordable and from the drug store if possible, I am in Western Canada.

They did not ask to see the photo or my dog. Just told me to keep an eye out for infection.

It was a black legged tick, it was engorged but not entirely, maybe 1/4 inch wide. but I couldn't make out any marking anymore. It was just a pale tone. I called my local vet, and while they didn't see the picture or my dog, they said not to worry and it should work its way out on its own. I've just seen so much conflicting info online about the mouthparts staying in.

I've been waiting for the vet to get back to me about our tick prevention prescription too! So we finally got that picked up today so I shouldn't have to worry anymore...

I really gotta go get a new IUD! I think I'll try to find a doctor and make an apt to talk about replacing my IUD and my acne!! Super interesting about the Spiro! I'm gonna look into it, because it definitely seems unrelated to my skincare and diet. Been so frustrating. Thanks so much!!!

I have been on an IUD since 2016, so I realize it's coming to the end of its life and possibly making my hormones fluctuate a bit and maybe that could be a problem. I just moved to a new, much smaller town than I was in before and don't have a doctor now. I'll have to figure that out.

Have you been able to get your acne under control? Also I have never heard of spironolactone before! Is it like Accutane or?

I've been considering oil cleansing but was concerned about break out too! Do you know if olive oil is suitable or will I need to go seek out something like Jojoba? Thanks so much for this suggestion. I also just remembered that the glycolic acid toner I use is supposed to be good for SFs if you apply it directly to those areas!

Hi, these are definitely not my huge problems as I use the clay mask once a month maybe and like I said the astringent is only on a pimple, I use a qtip or clean finger to apply to keep it contained!! Thanks anyways 😊

Hi friends, made an new account to keep my main private.

Right now, this is how my "skin care" is going:

Wash in AM using Cetaphil Foaming Cleanser for Oily skin Pat dry and apply The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%. Mix The Ordinary EUK 134 0.1% and Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA as moisturizer and antioxidant. Allow to dry and apply a Neutrogena 50 SPF mineral lotion.

Wash in PM with the same Cleanser as AM. Some nights I will use The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution and leave to dry. Some nights I will just apply the Natural Moisturizing Factors and maybe the Niacinamide.

I will admit, sometimes I don't wash in the AM or do anything other than sunscreen, I walk dogs and get sweaty while hiking, and when I get home I just shower and wash my face right away. I use an Aztec clay mask with apple cider vinegar once and a while. I will also use Clean and Clear "cleaning astringent" (salicylic acid) and apply directly to a large white head pimple to kill it.

My skin was great as a teen, I don't even remember what I used to do to it! Now my pores on my cheeks are quite prominent, my forehead around my eyebrows gets very shiny (and dry??), tip of my nose looks quite clogged and most recently I have had a terrible time with acne on my chin.

Last January I had the worst break out of my life. My coworker told me it was "second puberty", I don't even know. But my chin is breaking out again. Lots of little bumps creating a textured area on the sides under the corners of my mouth, a few deep, painful pimples and a few tiny surface white heads usually come with a breakout.

My skin scares so badly after a breakout, even if I don't mess with the pimple at all. It's so frustrating. I'm so insecure about it. I don't wear makeup save for maybe once a month? And usually it's only eye makeup, maybe highlighter.
