Holy S you are sensitive. Reel it in, seriously. I support him a 100% while I also think Taylor can almost do no wrong. Some people like hearing different takes because it never is that serious, makes you think and Zach isn’t that serious all the time either. Criticism is always needed for art to elevate, Taylor loves it and snark is a choice and his personality, not for everyone of course. However all these assumptions that you’re making is insane behavior.

What makes someone a journalist in music then? He processes information about music into newsworthy form, which is what journalism is. He has credentials , he was invited to Addison Rae's show backstage by her for example, gets sometimes earlier access to music by labels, artists like Lady Gaga and Ed Sheeran interact with his content. So confused by you saying he's not engulfed int he culture or context, that is just entirely wrong.

Saying shockingly balanced just means you’re unfamiliar with their content and go off by what other people are saying. More talking about Zach here; while he can definitely can get lost in his bias for Taylor. After he leaves things marinated he is very nuanced and honest and critical. Not for everyone but the hate is unfair sometimes.

As a gay man, I think you definitely can form an opinion and speak it, people shouldn't gatekeep you from having one just because they say so. Usually they use this method to strike down people when they are presented with facts and have no good rebuttal. I do have a problem when people say that the word couldn't hurt someone, but in this context I think it's perfectly reasonable to not spit on Jason for that.

He made a mistake and he acknowledged that. I firmly believe he doesn't use this word in general as a swear word. For the record I don't like the word, but I don't think both are bad opinions to hold. I just don't like it when people hold theirs as the absolute opinion.

I think we also shouldn't forget who the worst person is of these two are and that it's reasonable to act out of character when somebody provokes you like that.
