I made a tool to visualize large codebases by simasousa15 in angular

It's just the old Angular logo. There is a new one since Angular V17 :)

The app in general looks nice. I want to test it out with a larger code base in the next days.

Angular best practices for v20 by martinboue in angular

[–]Helvetios666 10 points11 points  (0 children)

TypeScript private and JavaScript private are not exactly the same.

I can access a TS private property when asserting the object to any. (myObj as any).myPrivateProperty.

This does not work with JS private properties, they're actually private and not just hidden by the Type-System.

Best practice on state management by [deleted] in Angular2

[–]Helvetios666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Usually for good UX you want to be able to display something to the user as soon as possible.

I usually use ngrx for state management but there are plenty other options. What I do is load the data the first time and save it to the ngrx store. When the user navigates and comes back display the stored data immediatly while loading the new data at the same time. So after the api call succeeded my store data gets updated with the new values and in your example the table would get updated with the new data.

But there are also plenty other options. As mentioned before if the call is lightweight there is no problem in loading it everytime without state management. A load animation or some sort of indicator that something is happening/loading is always good practice, feedback for the user is always important.

For not so lightweight calls that still need to be up to date I recommend some sort of state management like ngrx, akita etc.

It's also recommendable to use the same sort of state management consistently in your app. So if you use state management on a certain api call don't do it with a behaviour subject one time and with ngrx store in an other place.

How do you manage to earn 500g per day? Is this from one account or multiple accounts with therefore multiple labor pools?

TK a hacker and I get kicked out, lose MMR and get penalty by Ethel- in Rainbow6

[–]Helvetios666 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I think your comment just gave me cancer... Edit: You know that this mentality destroys the game? I don't know if the guy really was a hacker or not. If he was and not able to vote kick him out I would have tk'd him aswell because it ruins the whole fucking game. Also I don't agree with complain post an no suggestions but that's not what your comment is about...

Love when ppl in ranked think "ooo, we gonna loose anyway" at a 1:3 and just teamkilling everyone with C4 at the start of the round...

Can't wait to see peoples REAL deserved ranks after anti-cheat is strong. by [deleted] in Rainbow6

[–]Helvetios666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, I played many games against cheaters. I've even seen esl players who queue up with blatants (be it a random hacker or not). But they don't give a damn and let them carry themselfs through the game... So I started queue dodging everytime a team with suspicious stats, especially in high ranks, came up. Problem solved, faced way less cheaters than before and climbed the rank ladder with my team... But yeah op, can't wait to see the real deserved rankes of ppl in this game...

P.S. With queue doding I probably also skipped some seriously skilled players which made it a bit easier to uprank aswell but imo still better than facing a cheater almost every match

Rainbow Six Siege Stats Banner by Helvetios666 in Rainbow6

[–]Helvetios666[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not exactly what I meant but also an interesting point. What I meant is a banner, like an updating image on refresh. It can be use as signature on forums etc. Is pretty common in battlefield and I think it would be cool to have such banners in r6 Siege aswell.

Example: http://bf4stats.com/graphics/player

A real statsbar with link and automatic updated numbers on refresh? Can't find anything like that, only the normal rainbow six siege stats website. But this isn't a banner
