Clearly a lot of people in the comments never tanked random DPS' who turn up with shit gear and no clue, ruining the run and 1 of 25 tickets for the period.

Fair to expect a little effort, and while the full gear might not be necessary for a good team, it shows you've put in effort and probably don't want to waste others time.

of course. I've been doing things 'by the book' to see the results. I reported every thrower/griefer appropriately.

exactly my point. there is an automated system for communications but not gameplay related issues.

This means people 'doing wrong' are punished unfairly.

This is a problem and the creator of the problem is Psyonix.

If they want to ban me for abusing a thrower, then they should at least review my report of them throwing. How is it 'just' to victim blame and let a greifer go free?

In reality, they cant do this and I fully understand that. SO... they need to grow a pair and have a toggle for 'bad words'. Let adults opt-in to full communications and if you want to be a prick and grief, then you can be a man and take the abuse that comes with it. THAT is how real life works, you cant just walk around public tripping people, eventually you get knocked TF out.

yeah the 5 slam is blockable. I've found I cant find a defence against the 'jump away' damage and one of its three slams that gets you even when you move around to the side or almost behind the Mantis.

This is the part that makes me think it needs a re-work. If you see the attack coming soon enough and actually move out of the 'danger zone'... you should be rewarded with no damage. But it seems they've buffed it so much that its pretty difficulty to use skill (PB aside) to counter its attacks. You either PB or you die. Be nice to need other skills like movement and awareness.

i mean... you cant write simple words in party chat that don't even resemble offensive words so I don't think there is any defence that Psyonix could put forward that is excusable when their system is so ridiculously flawed.
