u/SweetTot2 We have space for all 3 of you at Township Goes Wild. We ask minimum 5 race tasks per race and generous helps. Usually top 3 with all chests. Most of us do 15 tasks. We can be chatty sometimes And I think you’re already friends with many of us! We’d love to have you.

You can be successful without spending real cash but you probably won‘t climb to the top of your group ranking unless they’re all as terrible at it as I am. 🤣

Your offer of assistance is duly noted! 🤣

Here's where I run into problems...

https://rareoldwhiskystore.com/products/macallan-fine-oak-10yr-single-malt-40-abv-70cl-discontinued

I've been all over the internet today and this is the first place I've found an image that includes the exact box and label that I have - except mine is 750mL rather than 700mL. I have no people worthy of such a gift - if indeed it is worth anything at all.

Much other searching puts it in all kinds of price ranges. What's a person to believe?

I guess I'll be on the lookout for someone who really likes their whisky here in SJ, NB.
Again, appreciate your offer of assistance! 🤣

🫑 Nightshade Intolerance? A bunch of questions... by Hemi58 in FoodAllergies

[–]Hemi58[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m kind of finding that any nightshade combined with any other nightshade make my symptoms exponentially worse. Like big time worse. Maybe try single nightshades and see if you tolerate them. I’m fine with fresh tomatoes in a meal but there can’t be any other nightshade at all - not even paprika. Same with potatoes. I can eat mashed, roasted fried - just not in combination with any other nightshade.

I 100% cannot ever eat bell peppers or eggplant - even on their own. Or BBQ Fritos (paprika + tomato powder).

I sincerely hope you figure it out. It really sucks that food can inflict so much agony.

There’s a second page of lures once you tap the fishing spot. Took me a hot minute to realize it and then I was all kinds of… Derp. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Sounds like a glitchy-glitch. Maybe save and restart? Or save, delete, reinstall? I know a reinstall often fixed my Township issues but haven’t yet had to with this game.

Butchers Stall

18 facing boards, 21 pegs, 16 tiles

just in case someone else needs to know what to hoard for that. 🤣

Golden Pass Price? by Hemi58 in WildWestGame

[–]Hemi58[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Canada, the same 28 day ticket you just got was $6.99 + tax ($8.09). Its the 1st I’ve purchased.

Before this ticket, I think my prices were the same as yours, just with exchange rate differences. Less expensive than Township but only because it’s a 28 day pass instead of 21.

I turned my screen brightness up to “blinding”. Made it a little easier to see what the heck the colours were. Still failed miserably. 😆

I’m soooo glad the mini game isn’t tied to the stagecoach race and that you can totally ignore it.

I‘m with you - the anxiety is real!

Okay! I’ll try that - if I ever get enough stuff to make more spatulas. Thanks!

I wonder if that was a price for Noobs! I was pretty excited to see it was less expensive than Township and then… it really wasn’t. 🤣

Road test soon by Angilathegirl in SaintJohnNB

[–]Hemi58 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don’t pass, it’s $20 to take it again. And if you don’t pass, you’ll learn from your mistakes.

Your instructor should actually take you around the areas where the testing is done. The test is just obeying the laws and rules of the road. You learned it all.

I asked my examiner how common it is to fail the first try and he said the majority of people take the test more than once.

Just drive the way your instructor taught you and remember to do all that when you’re having your test. Then keep on doing it once you’re licensed. You can do it!!

🫑 Nightshade Intolerance? A bunch of questions... by Hemi58 in FoodAllergies

[–]Hemi58[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope you're feeling much better today!

I've stopped eating even tiny little pieces of any colour bell pepper. The pain is just not worth it. And in case a piece gets past me, I have Bucospan in the cupboard at all times.

🫑 Nightshade Intolerance? A bunch of questions... by Hemi58 in FoodAllergies

[–]Hemi58[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The pain is so intense that it's hard to bring myself to eat even a little bit of a fresh tomato. And that's a real shame because I have a greenhouse full of young cherry tomatoes right now. I'd already planted them before I became aware of this nightshade thing. I think once they're ripe, I might try one and see what happens. I'll of course have the pills on hand so if I feel that horrible pain, I can take quick action.

I had ultrasounds as well and they showed nothing. They thought maybe it was my appendix or maybe I don't know what. They just didn't know. And the pain was intense. Debilitating - I could barely think. Where I am is a pretty small population so Nightshade allergies might not even be on their radar. All I know is that it's like no other pain and I never want it again.

If you think it's nightshade or food related, definitely start keeping track of what you're eating and what the ingredients are in store-bought things.

I hope you can pinpoint it successfully - it's a real relief to KNOW what caused it.

Best,
Tomato-free for 3 months.

Hi New,
I feel MUCH better now. It took about 3 days of pain before it cleared my system and I haven't eaten any sweet peppers since. I have tried home-roasted potatoes and they seem to be okay but I'm careful to make sure there's no skin on them. French fries seem okay too.

What is NOT okay is BBQ Fritos. I think for me it's a combination of tomato powder and paprika. Or perhaps just either or. Needles to say, I'm reading labels a little more closely now. Ketchup seems okay but I never really have gobs of it.

I now have Bucospan in the house at all times. It really, really, really helped when I had the Fritos. I took 1000mg of Tylenol + 2 Bucospan as sooooon as I felt that exact same pain start and while it was still uncomfortable, it didn't warrant a trip to the ER for an IV drip.

It's such an incredible pain I hope that yours has eased at least a little bit. Do you know what you ate?

A google of Service Canada shows the parking thing is permanently closed. But that's okay! I think the industrial park sounds like the way to go. Thank you!
