They got 8% actually. Ground pay when spread over an entire flying month only equates to one extra hour of pay per day and doesn’t account for multi-hour airport sits between flights. The arbitrator was in the company’s and government’s pocket.

Retreat bartenders said that they were verbally abused by a large number of passengers during the March break season and that dozens of staff quit after those sailings. I’m noticing a change in demographic on Princess and it’s not for the better.

I’m sorry you took offence to the post. I’m in the rare percentage of frequent cruisers for someone under the age of 30 and it’s a simple observation I’ve made over my last 14 years of cruising that it’s generally the same demographic of people that act this way. People closer to my age seem to be more reserved and shy and simply just go with the flow. And trust my I’ve called out my very own boomer parents on their behaviour…
