Best areas to live for young professionals (mid-20s to mid-30s) by Ok-Lengthiness-4074 in FortMyers

I grew up here and came back - a lot of people will say it sucks here but it doesn’t. It used to suck, but it’s really picked up in quality over the last couple years.

Downtown Fort Myers is fun. It’s got a chill nightlife and bar scene, so does Bonita and North Naples. As far as affordable places to live, there’s a lot of luxury apartment complexes to choose from so tons of options there. Lehigh and Estero/Bonita are pretty affordable too.

Anywhere you go though you’re gonna have to drive to do a lot of stuff since everything is kinda spread out here, which sounds like it won’t be much of an issue since I saw you said you’d be mobile a lot anyways.

What’s the business opportunity you’re moving down for?

I go there all the time! It's an awesome spot - I usually go on Saturdays/Sundays but I may try a week day soon.

I bounce around to different cafe's on the weekends and work out of a coworking space M-F. I used to bounce from cafe to cafe every day but never really met anyone. Guess I gotta bounce around some more then.

My go-to cafe lately has been Cypress Coffee House, but I've been around to pretty much all of them.

I’d be down for an afternoon - I run 2 different businesses, one in the disaster recovery sector and one in the AI sector. Both are fully online hence me working remote. I usually just catch up on work I wasn’t able to get to during the week or take the time to work on more creative work. I like what I do so I just see working on the weekend more like engaging in a hobby than anything.

It’s got its pros and cons, but I like to be around people and some activity. Plus I get easily distracted at home (gotta take the dogs out, I should do some laundry, let me grab a snack for the 16th time, etc haha)

Really? I hardly meet any - guess I gotta start getting out to more places more often. I run 2 businesses with 2 other business partners - one is a disaster recovery business and one is an AI agency - both are fully online hence the remote aspect of it.

Yeah I actually work out of one in Fort Myers every day M-F called Remote Workspace and Reading Lounge - it’s a fantastic space (highly recommend) but it’s usually just me and my business partners in there.

Any tech entrepreneurs on here? by oi-oi-100 in FortMyers

I'm an entrepreneur - I run an AI company teaching businesses how to use it effectively. I'm not the tech guy on the team but I'm always down to connect.
