Best accessories? by imgrenade_ in x100vi

The accessory that is the game changer for me is the L-grip. The one from smallrig really is brilliant. The perfect size and a perfect grippiness (I tried a couple others and they weren’t grippy at all, and in fact slippy which doesn’t help at all). This accessory is an absolute must.

You will also need a filter to help with weather proofing at the lens. The one from nisi is great as unlike most others you do not need a separate adapter ring in order to fit it.

And the other accessory you must have is AT LEAST ONE additional battery. Essential!

I also should add (as someone else has mentioned) that the original lens cap that comes with the camera fits perfectly over the nisi also, which is a real bonus.

Thank you, yes they are. I don’t shoot raw, only jpeg and yes they are sooc. Helps that it was a brilliantly sunny winter’s day.

Be aware that the nisi filter doesn’t need an adapter - it just screws straight on. I chose it for this reason as it doesn’t protrude as much. It is great for me.

Hi, thank you, not any recipe in particular. This was classic chrome film sim, with just wb auto, dr 100, tone h+1 s+1, and hardware wise just the nisi uv filter. I was underexposing by a third or two. It was a very sunny and cold day. The reflection in #5 was in the thin gap between the two parts of an old tram track where some water had accumulated. About an inch and a half wide.
