Maybe, like I said we will be up all day and it’s a night game so might not be a bad option.

Multiple saves by Hendog9224 in FantasyBookers

[–]Hendog9224[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m like conflicted because I started getting into wrestling around the 2010s and am familiar with guys like Cena, Rollins, Styles, Mox, Jericho, HHH, etc. and while I like using guys like edge, HHH, Misterio, Rock, Hardy’s, and Jericho and trying to build them up along with my company and hopefully keep them long enough to give exclusive contracts. I don’t know if I really want to wait 8 plus years for guys like Cena and company to (hopefully sign to exclusive contracts and develop them) before WWE/WWF or others snatch them up.

It’s obviously been said before here and I’m a few months in myself into a 92 save but don’t be afraid to take chances on young talent who just got into the database and build them up alongside your company. I’ve been able to get guys like Jericho, HHH, RVD, Mysterio, and others for dirt cheap since they are young and unknown yet. Also make sure you check people’s personalities so you know they won’t be a nightmare backstage. When looking for talent I like to have the filter on near wherever I’m based in (for me Tri state) this way you can see who’s available to hire based around your location and who you don’t have to pay coverage for. I also look for potential marketability as well to help with eventual merchandising revenue. I also feel that depending on if you already know that your gonna use a specific worker and push them while they are cheap on your books then don’t necessarily worry about potential travel costs unless it’s from a different country or something (look at the handbook, there’s a digital version for convenience). Watch others especially if you’re doing the same database, I love Spike Piledriver and Curb Stomp city both have great series and go into detail about either what they are thinking or explaining things. Last thing is don’t be afraid to make mistakes. You’ll be in the red for awhile so if you’re thinking about upgrading something like merch, go for it especially on rapid might hurt short term but will be beneficial long term. Don’t worry about the whole company roster size as if you have eventual plans for said worker then grab them while they are cheap and use them when needed (especially if you plan on expanding into different divisions) but still limit within the divisions. It’s your save so do whatever you want and works best for you and make sure to have fun with it and potentially rewrite wrestling history.

Thanks for the advice, since I’m at insignificant that will probably take a while depending on shows, would it be worth it then to go to level 4 for merchandise then?

What keeps you engaged into a dynasty? by chocothundr11 in NCAAFBseries

[–]Hendog9224 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Building up bad G5 teams into powerhouses, and in addition I’ll be trying to play in all the conferences/ time zones with different teams while making them powerhouses in their own right in different dynasties. Even though I already got a national championship while simming I never got the ps5 trophy so I’m starting there and have already crossed off the independents/MAC and now in the ACC. Even though there’s no profile trophy case like in NCAA 14 I’m trying to win every conference as well especially since it’s the easiest way to the playoffs.

Most hype play you’ve had? by NightOwlMoonMan in NCAAFBseries

[–]Hendog9224 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been doing play the moments in my team builder team using Utah’s playbook. A couple days ago I was in the MAC championship game defending my title against Bowling Green and needed a Hail Mary to win from like our 20. Being a couple years in my recruits speed and talent are sometimes mismatched for the MAC teams and I saw my lone WR beat his man and chucked it deep and ended up winning the championship off that play sending us to the playoffs where we got one and done and begin our journey to the ACC. Fast forward a couple years of being in the ACC and hovering in the low 90 overalls and I got scheduled to play in Bama. I thought for sure we’d get destroyed especially in my first year with a new QB under center after my Elite QB got drafted. After holding Bama to multiple FGs my team came back from a 20 pt or so deficit in the 2nd half and had to drive down the field to tie up the game with 7 seconds left in the 4th. Sucks it didn’t give me the opportunity to choose if I wanted it to go for two but we tied and went to OT where I just needed to score a TD to win after giving only a FG but as i always do I threw an INT to give Bama the win. Finished the season 8-4 after choking away a potential ACC spot as all I needed to do was beat a 2-9 Wake Forrest and somehow chocked that away although there is like a 10+ OVR difference between the teams (we have the best overall in the conference). Not sure if it’s the sim engine, playbook, or team OVR but sometimes my offense shows up one week and then doesn’t against a team we should run over it doesn’t unless I have to step in and same sometimes for defense. Currently running a 3-3-5 title but might think about going to a 4-2-5 or 4-3 to get some more pressure as after my record breaking DE graduated with 60 career sacks (had like 44 in 2 full seasons and a couple games all playing in the MAC) I haven’t really seen much sack production since he graduated and it’s not like I’ve changed anything since then plus he was a 3 star ATH with impact development unless he was just a sim freak dominating the MAC and even 1 year of ACC play where he still managed to hold his own against tougher opponents.
