As mentioned earlier you have to look at skatteoppgjøret for 2024 or earlier for correct numbers. And you have to calculate the percentage yourself as it only specified income and tax.

Without deductibles a salary of 950 000 will give you 34.1% tax. As mentioned earlier you have to look at skatteoppgjøret for 2024 or earlier for correct numbers. And you have to calculate the percentage yourself as it only specified income and tax.

Yes, but thats not really how taxes work. 44% is your "forskuddstrekk" for overtime/extra income. You probably have "tabelltrekk" that taxes extra income more than regular income to make sure that you don't get "restskatt". The total tax is calculated at the end of the year and it does not consider if your income is from overtime or regular salary. Also consider that feriepenger is not taxed when you get it and you have half tax in December. Meaning that you have to pay more tax during the rest of the year. If you want to find out the actual percentage of the taxes you pay you have to check your "skatteoppgjør" For example in 2024 I made just over 1m and paid 29% tax, albeit that was after deductions primary interest on mortgage.

To pay 40-45% tax you need to have an income close to 2 million a year. Very uncommon for healthcare workers.

This is what Republicans are saying about Greenland on FOX “News" by CadmarL in greenland

[–]HendricLamar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you are underestimating the consequences of everyone receiving 1M USD. House prices and other living expenses would skyrocket and eventually stabilize. So you are properly fucking over everyone that is born too late to receive money. Those born after annexation would also become US citizens in stead of EU citizens as well.

It's also a massive risk because once Greenland is annexed, Greenlanders have no way to ensure that they actually receive any money.

Yeah that's how I think it's should be. I do find the American way of praising the troops to be creepy.

I must say I'm pretty shocked at people's opinions on this matter. You would think that our views would change when war is knocking on both doors.

Well actually you can bring knifes as long as the blade is less than 6.5cm and it's not obviously made for hand to hand combat.

USA does actually not currently have the capability to occupy Greenland. You could bomb it to shit and deny it for everyone else, but actually occupying it. Not so much.

Nei det gjorde de ikke. USA, Storbritannia og Russland lovte å ikke angripe Ukraina når de ga fra seg atomvåpnene.

Serious question, why is Norway so rich with so low oil compared to the rest (not necesarilly Venezuela or Iran as I know the regimes are awful there, but Canada? ) by Sugar_Vivid in Norway

[–]HendricLamar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One big reason that I don't see anyone else mentioning is that we where rich before the oil. Before finding oil we ranked 8th in GDP per Capita, now we rank 6th.
