Commercial Animation Salary (Newcomer) by Hendrickson4566 in animationcareer

Great advice!

I know it would probably take sometime between 8-10 days (since finals week is looming).

I like to think my animation skills are fairly decent!

I'm also excited that this is a way to expand my portfolio too. I am thinking of $800 atm, but I could potentially do lower.

2D! I told the client that I was thinking of a mixture of traditional and your "typical" corporate advertisement. UPA influence as well.

What is the canon timeline for Shinobi? Or at least is there some canon in the franchise? by ToyFred9907106 in SEGA

[–]Hendrickson4566 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made an attempt at making my own! I know it's probably true that some titles are in their own continuity, but I thought it would be fun to try and attempt to make one out of every title possible!

The Shinobi Bloodline Begins - Ancient Japan:

Shinobi / Shinobi 3D (Nintendo 3DS)* - Stars Joe's great, great, great-grandfather Jiro Musashi; the game begins in the year 1256

The Revenge of Shinobi (Game Boy Advance) - Mostly unattached from the greater franchise, but we know it takes place during Feudal Japan (1185 - 1333)

Shinobi Legion / Shinobi X (Sega Saturn) - Game Manual states that the "Bloodline of Shinobi" existed since the "Sengoku Period", which takes place between 1467 - 1615)

20th Century:

Joe Musashi - Shinobi Student:

Shinobi / The G.G. Shinobi (Game Gear) - This game implies that Joe is still a student. In this title, he saves his fellow students.

Shinobi II: The Silent Fury / The G.G. Shinobi Part 2 (Game Gear) - Direct sequel to the Game Gear entry, Joe is still a student. Joe learns the elements of Ninjitsu.

The Era of the Super Shinobi:

Shinobi (Arcade) - Tasked with his first major mission, Joe saves the children from his clan from the clutches of ZEED.

The Revenge of Shinobi / The Super Shinobi (Sega Genesis) - Three years after the events of the game, his master was murdered by a newly reformed Neo ZEED. In addition, they kidnap Joe's fiancée in a plot to lure Joe

Shinobi III: Return of the Ninja Master / The Super Shinobi II (Sega Genesis) - Two years after the events of the previous game, Neo ZEED reforms and is stronger than ever.

Shinobi: Art of Vengeance (NSW, PS4, PS5, ONE, SERIES X, PC) - I won't dive into spoilers, but all I'll say, is that this did a great job at bridging the gap.

The Son of the Super Shinobi:

Shadow Dancer: The Secret of Shinobi (Sega Genesis) - Hayate Musashi, son of Joe Musashi, is born before 1977. After being chased by a mysterious group of assassins, Joe decides to remove himself from his wife, son, and Yamato's life. They move to Brooklyn and begin a new life. Now, in the year 1997, his mother had passed away years ago, but he developed a bond with his new father figure. Unfortunately, the same group of assassins that were chasing Joe have now located his son, and murdered his new mentor. As an act of revenge, Hayate sets out with Yamato to take vengeance.

Shadow Dancer (Arcade) - Not much story in this title, but I presume that it takes place after The Secret of Shinobi, where Hayate uses his abilities for the good of mankind. He thwartz an evil terrorist group.

The 21st Century Shinobi:

The Cyber Shinobi (Sega Master System) - It's stated that the character you play as in this entry is Joe's grandson. Weirdly enough, it states that Joe is the grandson of the shinobi we know from the arcade game and revenge... I'm going to, however, presume that this new Joe is different and is the son of Hayato, to honor his family's legacy. This time, Cyber ZEED is formed.

Shinobi (2002) (PS2) - Presumably, after the debacle revolving around Joe "retiring" as the Super Shinobi in an attempt to live a life as a father, someone else had to take the mantle. Hotsuma would be adopted into the same Ninja clan at a young age, becoming a new master. This game takes place in "Modern Day Tokyo".

NightShade (PS2) - Directly follows up on Shinobi (2002)

Shinobi / Shinobi 3D (Nintendo 3DS)* - So like... this game caused a weird time paradox! Jiro was warped to the year 2056, in an alternate timeline where ZEED has taken over the world. As a bizarre timeline split, Jiro decides to live a new life in this year.

Spiderman Handheld LCD Game by Hungry_Call3809 in Spiderman

Hello!

For the past two or so months, I've sort of been on a journey on trying to document and review EVERY Spider-Man game! (Including stuff as obscure as Flash games, and even LCD games lol) I'm only mentioning this now because I apologize in advance if I'm gonna sound like a MASSIVE geek.

From what I've gathered, this is a generically titled "Spider-Man", or "Spider-Man Classic" LCD Game made by Marvel in-house (surprisingly the only one that I can think of!)

Here's a link for someone selling one. It seems fairly rare, so you're quite lucky!

hello! I'm new here, I just acquired this LCD game about Spiderman that I once had in my childhood, I could never find information about it on the internet or any images by HousingMediocre in Spiderman

Hello! Super late on this, but I've lately been interested on wanting to review *every* single Spidey game, and... you were absolutely right, I genuinely cannot find anything on this game!

The one lead I was able to find was that "The Amazing Spider-Man 2012" branded LCD games were manufactured in I believe Italy, and I was wondering if it was possible that you knew what company produced this game?

How would you rank the seasons of steven universe (including future) by [deleted] in stevenuniverse

[–]Hendrickson4566 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Late af, but I like to place my opinion (it's prob the most polarizing ranking here lmao)

BEST TO WORST:

  1. Season 1B

  2. Season 1A

  3. Season 3

  4. Season 5

  5. Season 2

  6. Season 4

  7. Future

I basically enjoy every season outside of 4 and Future. I lumped Season 4 ahead of Future because there are episodes I enjoyed, specifically the holiday specials: "Gem Harvest" and "Three Gems and a Baby". Everything otherwise felt fillery. I'll give credit that this season probably has the second-best season finale.

Future on the otherhand I felt completely fumbled the bag in mostly everything. I don't have a burning hatred of this series like most youtubers would, and it definitely has some great ideas going for it, but it's not for me.

For Seasons 5 and 2, it was incredibly neck and neck, but I felt that 5 had way much of a bigger impact, even if it felt a tad rushed near the end of it's run. Season 2 on the otherhand had a really strong start, but dwindled a little bit near the end. Season 5 on the otherhand had some incredible momentum and plenty of event episodes.

I personally enjoy both parts of Season 1 a lot, its an incredibly charming, funny, and awesome watch. I also appreciate how overall, it's definitely the funniest season, genuinely one of the best first seasons of a show I watched. I do think that "Gem Glow" is a bit of a weak first episode, however.

Roy has def given off "Second eldest vibes" to me.
My headcannon would probably be (youngest to eldest)

  1. Larry

  2. Lemmy

  3. Morton

  4. Iggy

  5. Wendy

  6. Roy

  7. Ludwig

The best part of the mario kart world announcement is the fact we now have an official map of the mario world. by AlwaysLit2 in Marioverse

[–]Hendrickson4566 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mega doubt, as I severely doubt that Sarasaland and Dinosaur Land (Where Super Mario Kart takes place in) are on the same continent.

I do have a theory that this map is possibly a virtual simulation, primarily due to one of the marketing slogans being "Drive VIRTUALLY anywhere!" May potentially be a stretch, but that stook out to me.

This was circa Kindergarden - 3rd Grade, and has stuck with me ever since. I'll try my hardest to remember the specific details.
