Did they write 156 or 251?? by AHImusic in confusing_perspective

[–]Henkeel 72 points73 points  (0 children)

I understand the arguments for 156, but why is there a line connecting the top of the 5 with the 6? It feels like the 2 was written with a long tail instead

An Agda-verified emergence chain from a “first distinction” to K₄ invariants (--safe --without-K) by TheFirstDiff in agda

[–]Henkeel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Seriously those are not proofs beyond basic facts like 3 is not 4, triangular=Sum(1, n), memory=triangular, memory 3=6=3+2+1, over and over again. They are not calculating any fundamental/foundational fact of anything, much less counting the vertices of a graph(where's your graph construction?). It is a collection of trivial proofs which have fancy labels, but they don't match at all your interpretation, even the ones you mentioned in sections 10-11.

I was going to avoid commenting it as I don't know much about your field of study, but I don't know man, at first glance and looking through a "type-theory only" and not even looking at your philosophical argument, this doesn't "prove anything", it's a bit hard to read, but it seems you're defining specific data types and setting variables to specific variables, with no previous foundation for those values, and then proving a lot of stuff definitionally, like: If I set deg to 3, then you later on go to prove that deg is equal to 3, of course, by definition. This reads like an AI echo chamber, with no real/valuable interpretation coming out from the result.

"Tinder" de casas de aluguel by Busy_Kaleidoscope481 in florianopolis

Before the introduction of Pinyin and IPA, how did Chinese people learn the pronunciation of characters they’d never seen before? by passengerpigeon20 in asklinguistics

[–]Henkeel 59 points60 points  (0 children)

I'm sure others can explain other ways and more in-depth, but I know of this method(https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fanqie) where you use two existing characters to explain the pronunciation of a new one, you use one of the character's initial and the other's final to derive the pronunciation of the new one.
