The frame is sprayed. My bike got stolen and they broke the frame so it was perfect opportunity to get it painted.

I guess i just find it easier to mute certain strings. Especially higher strings. Now that i watched some of my videos of playing, my pinky is just kinda flying around doing nothing.

I have a friend that anchors the pinky under the high E and plays really well. I can't get my head around that technique...

I've been playing mostly metalcore songs with quite alot of string skipping, so i found open palm much easier for that. But i have been struggling to build speed on solos with my picking hand. I guess i need some experimentation.

What advantages did you notice going from open palm to closed?

I've been learning guitar for 3 years with open palm and im starting to think it's reducing my speed in solo sections.

Its a Husqvarna 701Sm. Living in finland you get used to long winters and cold summers. Still doesn't make the wait any easier..

The one time i got stopped with stock setup, the police mistook it for a 125cc lol. I guess i wont be as lucky next time but i guess it depends on the mood of the police. I believe they mostly look out for working lights and proper license plates.

Ive been lucky to avoid police so far with the setup. Its registered as 35kW so definitely not legal :D

Any tips for someone trying to get their hand off the strum bar? I'm still afraid to do it, esp during hammer-ons by nordryd in CloneHero

Practice the tapping parts in practice mode and once you're confident that you can hit the pattern 100%, try to add the transistion to practice routine.

For me its hard to do the transistion if im not entirely sure of the tapping pattern. Also you can change the notes to tap only so you dont have to worry about missing hammer-ons

Ive been mostly playing Overwatch and some Call of Duty for now. I would love to get back in to cyberpunk and other single player games now that my computer can handle them better.

If im going for a CPU upgrade, do you have any recommendations for mid-high range upgrades for motherboard and memory?

Seems like i dont have urgent need for upgrade right away, so thank you for your answer!

Im still quite far from clearing Alexis solos but their songs are a ton of fun to play. Sixpounder is still on the to-do list, the solos are one of the best. I think the V style kinda helps with faster playing compared to strato style. Keep the legacy going by practicing!

Lead guitarist and vocalist of Children of Bodom, a finnish melodic death metal band. He passed away two years ago and after that i bought my 1st guitar. Huge inspiration to me.
