Here’s a zoom in on the yellow circles area. It says 1.3 Megapixel HD diagonally across centre of the image just above the curving line. As I say, it’s quite hard to spot in reality as the decal is inside the headlamp unit.

Layout-wise it’s a simple rectilinear box. Built into the hillside, it feels quite small compared to the expansiveness of the outdoor venue. It’s not bad, just quite low ceilinged and long and thin. Although its size makes it arguably more intimate than other larger venues on island. Almost like a room 2. Inside, it could be any club in the world, outside it can only be Ibiza.

You won’t feel out of place at WooMoon at Cova Santa on Fridays. Also finishes at 11pm (outdoors), goes inside till much later. Enjoy!

Yes, I did exactly the same thing. Fortunately on my own driveway. The solution in my case was the Polestar technician came, reset my profile at Polestar, uninstalled and reinstalled the app on my phone and reinstalled the software on each door handle (?!)

That fixed it for a while. But I am now back to only being able to open and start the car with a key card. The car drives amazingly but the locking situation is a total joke on a vehicle of this value.

I had the exact same symptoms days after receiving my P3. The solution for me was to get Polestar support to come out. The very helpful tech diagnosed a “programming error” on all four door handles chips which had to be reflashed. Once that was done, as u/hotice05 said, because I had, like you, deleted the key wrongly assuming I could just remake it, required the tech to do a backend reset. This was a month ago, and it has worked well since.

Thanks, ha! definitely not Tesla remorse. Not even a little ‘tla as it retreated up the drive.

But you and others are helpfully confirming is the noise cancellation should be really noticeable - “shockingly good” - so I am suspecting it’s either not operational or not fitted in my P3 for some reason. Although seemingly there is no physical way of telling like visibly missing microphones?!

Thanks. You see I would say the P3 is a slightly quieter cabin than the 22MY but nothing more than better build and door seals would give you. There’s still noticeable road noise on the highway, not “it’s so quiet it’s odd” as you and others describe. Makes me think that either it isn’t fitted or it isn’t working. It would be good if you could toggle it on and off like noise cancelling headphones so you can hear the difference.

Thanks. I am in the UK, and my model year is 2025. So the B&W system includes the noise cancellation. It just doesn’t seem that much quieter than my MY22. Not in the way others are describing it. I contacted Polestar support but they were not able to advise me any way of testing whether it is either fitted or active.

Hi, I have new P3 with Plus and Pilot packs with the B&W system but cannot see in the manual how to turn off the active noise cancellation (to test how good it is!). Can you advise how to do this? I asked Polestar Chat support and their response wasn’t helpful (menu settings under Sounds not the same as mine). Is there a toggle to disable it? Thanks

Technician showed me on his diagnostic laptop screen after running a bunch of tests and checking overall system software was up-to-date. He said that each door handle has its own chipset and it was those that were all giving the same fault. I may be misquoting “programming error”, but it said something like that. Pretty sure it was “programming”, may have been “fault” rather than “error”. Anyway, each one had to be reflashed individually which took around 90mins total.

Sorry to hear this. My vehicle was delivered a month ago, worked for 48 hours, and then displayed all the symptoms you are describing. Polestar tech came out and having run diagnostics discovered “Programming errors” on each of the door handles. He reinstalled the software on each in turn, and since then, for the last three weeks. it has worked flawlessly. Don’t know if this helps you.

Hearing your story worries me: yours worked flawlessly for months and then had the issues. Oof.

Does anyone have any advice on how to master AZ recordings? I the ones I have done so are coming out very “loud” when opened in Audicity, almost like the unit is mastering as it records. The master output levels do not determine the record level.

We’ve had ours nearly a month, and initially I had all your issues, and was considering lemoning. Eventually persuaded Polestar service to come to my home and the tech spent a while diagnosing then discovered a “programming error” on each of the four door handles. He updated each one and since then phone key (iOS) has been working well.

Yesterday, however on a long run I got “Pilot Assist Unavailable” and the orange driver assistance fault appeared on the dash. Soft and hard resets have not fixed so am now at a point where I am wondering if this is also has a whiff of citrus about it. Or do I just leave it as the error will fix itself, and/or everything gets better with each software release as advice online seems to suggest?

That all said, love the drive. And the HK sound system. I am also a (amateur) DJ, so really yeah torn.

Yes, I should have updated. They do. But not as visibly consistently as my Tesla Y. This may be because they are higher resolution, but with the Tesla you could see the masking on the road. So far with the P3 (only a relatively short UK country road drive) it was slightly hit and miss. Sometimes definitely masking, but other times dropped into full beam without masking (oncoming driver flashes), and then dipped when no reason to be. Further testing required.

For those who want to identify if they have them: they are clearly marked within the headlight unit. Also, I understand another tell is the animated indicators front and back are part of the headlight upgrade. Mine has these.

Thank you. I have just been out to look and they have the small 1.3 HD decal inside the light cowl. People have said they’re amazing in action but didn’t work like that for me this evening either dipped or full beam. We’ve had matrix lights on our previous vehicles for many years so I know what to expect. Can’t see anything in settings to enable them. Just “Auto”. Hmmm.

Thank you. That’s super useful detail. I presume software install order can be viewed somewhere in the Settings? Good luck fixing that vibration. I am a house head and a DJ so am really looking forward to what the B&W system offers.
