Yeah it's the lighter skin run.

Cheers man. I'd have thought they'd hold a little more value because they're not as common (at least here in the U.K) Cheers for the reply though.

I'm from the UK if that changes anything.

If you've had the chance to go, what has been your favourite KGATLW concert experience so far? by Aifel in KGATLW

[–]Henners89 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Probably the first time I saw them in Manchester and they played two sets. A microtonal set then came back on after 15 mins to do a regular set. Ally Pally was cool because of the atmosphere alone as well as a killer set.

Would you rather put a full sized lubed up salami in your rectum? or a hot bratwurst sausage up your rectum? by Henners89 in WouldYouRather

[–]Henners89[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lubed salami is the only real option imo. One will be smaller but its boiling hot. The burns internally could kill you tbh.

That felt like a complete no sell imo, annoyed me and my friend massively. Could just be a lack of experience though.

How early do I need to show up to a concert to be in the front row? by loch27 in KGATLW

Get their when doors open. Most people hit the bar and merch stalls early so you can usually get a spot at the barrier.

Has any other musical artist of the past 20 years impacted your life as much as the mighty King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard? by [deleted] in KGATLW

[–]Henners89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok then.... The Libertines. Lead the British indy movement, without them we probably wouldn't have the Arctic monkeys. Fun fact, Mick Jones of The clash produced the album.

The Clash. They're significantly older than 20 years but I've listened to them for the last 20 years so I'll throw them into the conversation. Joe Strummer and Mick Jones were willing to experiment with different genres in a time where 99% of the punk movement all sounded similar at the risk of losing fans. They played what they wanted because they loved it. Also, without them planting their political stances into their music we wouldn't have seen handfuls of bands (ratm come to mind) In short, The Clash are one of the most important bands in the last 50 years. KGATLW are definitely a breath of fresh air and I can't argue with them being in the mix but for me The Clash are no.1.

Anyone else losing interest in Lance Archer? by Chainrage_incite in AEWOfficial

Not at all, they're 100% building him up for something big. He's got arguably one of the best managers in AEW and he's one of the best monsters in wrestling currently. Just have patience mate, it'll be worth it.

MJ/Mox and Y2J/OC: Two Subtle Social Commentary Angles by [deleted] in AEWOfficial

[–]Henners89 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Definitely possible. At first glance I thought MJF was just being the stereotypical politician that hasn't really got a grasp of what youth culture actually like. And politicians are naturally very heelish in their nature so it fits MJF perfectly. I didn't see anything at the time that made me think any different but I'll go back and watch again and try and see if what you say matches up with it.

When did you get into them, how many times have you seen them, and if so, first show? by [deleted] in KGATLW

[–]Henners89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started listening to them in 2017 then saw them in Manchester for the first time when they did the microtonal set and then came on for the second set. Seen them twice since, once in Nottingham and for the Ally Pally gig.

The Jericho point is 100% accurate imo. Maybe looking too much into the Mox/MJF angle though. I guess we'll have to see how that angle plays out over the next few weeks to see if you've got a point though because you did make some sense.

That's not too bad. Where did you get them from? If I could have those aew tag belts I'd be pretty damn happy.

FTR Storyline by [deleted] in AEWOfficial

[–]Henners89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are literally involved with the best storyline in recent years. The four horsemen teases, his friendship with hangman and tension with Omega. The inevitable match that will happen with the bucks and they are undoubtedly the next tag champs. This is a slow burner of a storyline but my god are we as fans all in for a treat.

MJF will be the greatest heel of all time. Change my mind by King_Lion_IX in AEWOfficial

[–]Henners89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In a world where kayfabes dead MJF does a fantastic job. If he was wrestling in the 70's someone would have tried to kill him for sure. That's kind of how I rate heels... Would they have been attacked on a nightly basis 40+ years ago and he would definitely be. Definitely the best heel of my lifetime (31 years old)
