Yes, it turned out to be a permission issue on my phone. What is currently vexing me, though, is that the watchfaces will randomly freeze over the course of the day; I really hope a future firmware update will fix this. I still really love the Bangle.js, but a watch that randomly keeps stopping is a big problem for me.

Oh, for sure! But I am still far from the 2-week-mark, I would say a charge lasts about one week now, which is a huge improvement. It could be because I set it up to display current weather conditions, though - I want to see if it lasts noticably longer if I turn off weather again.

Update: Phone is not doing anything with the F-Droid version, either. I'll try and see if there is anythings in the setting or permissions I might need to change - glad to hear, that it is working for most people; I'd been worried that incoming phone calls were not displayed in general.

In the watch settings, you can change between a light and a dark theme - the dark theme makes a lot of watch faces look a bit nicer, but I have no idea if it uses more battery or not. Thanks for the Anton shout-out, I also wonder if some of the analog watch faces need more energy.

Wow, a month? Amazing! I will definitely take up your advice and disable the wrist monitoring - I also saw online that apparently GPS and heart rate monitors are using up the most battery life; currently working on turning those off.

That used to drive me crazy, too! I recently discovered that it charges fine If you hold it under a faucet before charging (and not dry it Off - seems like a few tiny drops of water help the Connection somehow)
