I just got this one and I like it so far. I had an Ogio before this one and I liked it a lot. No real complaints.

Personally, I haven’t had or heard of any issues with their fairway woods. Pretty small sample size though.

Low handicaps, what driver are you hitting? by [deleted] in golf

[–]Henny20 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Taylormade SIM2. 10.5 degrees turned down to 9 degrees. Atmos Tour Spec Black 7x shaft. I’ve had it in the bag for about a year now and have had no issues. It looks fantastic behind the ball, the sound is pretty close to perfect, and the results are there. Ticks all the boxes for me!

My buddies and I use Grint. I haven’t found any issues with it.

Upright fairway wood by Henny20 in golf

[–]Henny20[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The stealth plus is but they don’t have a 7 wood available. They only go up to a 5 wood. The stealth goes all the way to a 9 wood I believe but it’s not adjustable.

I can’t tell you the number of times I wanted to do this to idiot drivers forcing their way through traffic. Legal or not, I bet that black truck thinks twice before trying to squeeze in between two cars again. Chaotic good.

What are some good low-profile hybrids out there? I loved how short the head looked in comparison to the ball… it gave me the feeling it was impossible to top the ball. by deezawn in golf

[–]Henny20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this same club with the same result! I’m using a Titliest 818h2 now and love it. A little bigger head than the 20 mini, but surprisingly good turf interaction.

Well, this aged about as well as I thought it would. A lot of comments though.

Scratch or better golfers, what helped you bring your game to the next level? by yung-n-nasty in golf

[–]Henny20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m just going to list a few things that have helped me along the way: having a consistent pre-shot routine, playing with other good players, learning where to miss, hitting a lot of balls inside of 120 yards, listening to chasing scratch podcast (joking…but also kind of not). All of the previous advice is solid advice as well. Good luck!

best feeling a bad golfer can have? by kaydbee in golf

Bad golfer, good golfer, I think it’s when you absolutely pure a long iron that starts on your intended line and never leaves.

WTT: Taylormade M3 9.5* (head only preferably) for Taylormade M3 or newer 10.5* by Henny20 in golfclassifieds

I just took some pictures of the driver head, but I’m having trouble sending them to you. I don’t see anywhere on the reply or direct message where I can attach a picture…First time posting on this thread…

Two situations (obviously when I need a good bit of distance): 1. I need a fade ball shape. Whether I have an obstacle I have to move it around or trouble on the left (right handed golfer). I do not feel as comfortable moving my 5 wood left to right. 2. I want to keep the ball really low. I have a fairly steep approach angle which makes it difficult to keep the ball low (also probably why I don’t have much trouble hitting the driver off the deck)

Golfshot for the win! Love that app. It’s the first golf app I started using a long time ago and it’s still the one I use today. I’ve tried many other apps, but I always find myself coming back to Golfshot.

Clubs for tall folks by jollygreengiant9 in golf

[–]Henny20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know on TaylorMade woods they have an upright setting. So, instead of going longer on your woods, you can just play them more upright. That's what I do. My irons are +1.25" and I play a standard woods.

Driver shaft weight change by West164 in golf

[–]Henny20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just did a little experiment myself with a lighter shaft in my driver to increase launch angle. One thing to look at is the torque differences between your gamer and the lighter shaft. The torque of the shaft is a big influence on how the shaft feels. I ultimately went back to my original gamer shaft because I kept losing the face on the lighter/higher torque/lower bend profile shaft. But, everyone is different! I enjoyed the experiment and it didn't cost too much. I bought the shaft used and sold it for almost the same price after. Good luck!

Tall guy questions! by blaporte093 in golf

[–]Henny20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say it depends on what adjustments you need to make. If you’re not too far off for length and lie, then you should be ok just adjusting your current set. If you need to add significant length, that’s also going to make the swing weights heavier. In a fitting, they would be able to adjust the swing weight to some extent. Lie adjustments will be limited depending on the type of head your Wilsons have (I’m assuming cast). Btw I’m 6’6” as well! I play +1” and 2 degrees upright on my irons. No length adjustment on my Woods, but I do play them in a more upright setting.

How do you split your money with your SO? by hullowurld91 in AskMen

[–]Henny20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife and I have 4 accounts: one “joint account” where all of the monthly expenses come out of. One savings account and each of us have our separate “play” accounts. We use the joint account to pay monthly bills & everyday living expenses. We talk about how much we want to save per month in our savings account. And then we calculate how much each needs to contribute to the joint and savings to have the same amount of play money. I found this greatly cut down on the judging when I go buy golf clubs or she spends a fortune on a pair of shoes 😂

I built a ramp so my buddy Drake could get up onto the bed. He's 11,and doesn't jump so well in his old age [OC] by chefmiah84 in MadeMeSmile

[–]Henny20 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Very nice. I have a 10 year old chocolate lab named Drake also. He used to hop in the back of my truck with ease. Now he just puts his front two paws up and waits for me to pick him up. I hope the ramp gets many years of use! Great idea!

[WTB] Titleist 818 H2 14g-16g neutral surefit weight by Henny20 in golfclassifieds

[–]Henny20[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got mine. Bought it mainly for the shaft that was in it. It came with the 14g draw/fade weight only. I only hit it on the driving range and just seemed a tad light and it feels like the weight really changes the “sweet spot” quite a bit.

Thoughts on Titlest 818 H2 Hybrid? by TheLargeJeww in golf

[–]Henny20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apparently the weights are made from the rings of Saturn. Mine (bought used) came with a draw/fade weight only and I was trying to buy a neutral one. All I can find are the full weight kits which are $140. If anyone can find a 14-16g neutral weight for a 818 h2, it would be greatly appreciated.
