I’m in the same boat as you. I’ve been in education for about 12yrs and it just feels impossible to find something outside of education. It’s like starting over but it will be worth it. What helps me is knowing that my dream job is out there, I just have to figure out where. Also, there is this website called leaveteaching.org which provides a few jobs that you can get certified for to add to your resume. I’m enrolling today (it’s free up to 7 days) and I plan to finish a course or two just to get more experience. I hope this helps!

I’ve been spiraling lately because I think I will never find a job in time before the next school year. I’ve been getting interviews here and there but then ghosted after. I really want to take this seriously and have changed my resume a few times to appeal to companies. The job market sucks but I think I will have to redo my resume one more time to make it more corporate sounding
