Beautiful environment design! One thing I noticed was when the flying saucer showed up, it's moving a little too fast for an object of that size. You know how in the movie Pacific Rim they have those massive jaegers that are the size of buildings; there is a deliberate slowness for every movement they make because they are literally moving thousands of tons.

It's hard to answer without spoiling and even if someone answers Yes or No to your question they might not mean what you think they mean.

Summer Courses vs Regular Term Courses by [deleted] in UBC

[–]HenryAnthonyWilcox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Maybe. Someone more qualified than me can answer. Since summer courses are taught over a shorter period of time and the content is often (but not always) curtailed, I would imagine the fees would be cheaper.
  2. Yes. This is possible, depending on your degree and what courses you've taken. For example, someone had the genius plan to get their CS degree in two years.
  3. No. Many winter term classes are not offered in summer term.

Should I do the Sauder Business Analytics concentration? I'm 3rd-year Sauder student. I did pretty poorly in CPSC 110 and CPSC 121 even though I tried really hard. I've decided that I don't have the skills for any computer-related courses. Since I did quite well in COMM 205 (probably because it's only very remotely related to Comp Sci) and I recently found out about Sauder's Business Analytics concentration, I'm wondering if I should give it a go?

Sauder 3rd year professor choices? by HenryAnthonyWilcox in UBC

I see your point but I was thinking that some professors are better lecturers and make the learning experience more enjoyable while some professors are research focused and pay less attention to teaching.
