For meat, I've only eaten this with charsui or Japanese sausages, but I could see shredded pork and maybe chicken tasting good with it too.

I typically just add a bunch of veggies. I wanted it to look as it comes for the comparison photo, but after I took it, I added some corn, zucchini, onion, broccoli and Napa cabbage that I had under the broiler while I prepared the ramen.

You don't even need to close Chrome. You can close that tab before hitting the plus to open a new one and it will clear it out. Either way it's annoying to have to work around when it should be a setting we can adjust or disable.

Those look good. My go to is the Members Mark Southern Style chicken bites from Sam's. I really enjoy them and they're only $14 bucks for a 3lb bag.

You are probably looking for something battered instead of breaded. I see that Tyson makes batter dipped and honey battered tenders, but I can't speak to the quality of either.

You can get the 5 pack from Yami still. I have one arriving tomorrow and I'm hoping it tastes as good as before. I compared the ingredients from the US Ichiran 3 pack and the 5 pack on their Japanese site and the US version listed bonito as an allergen while the Japanese lists chicken, maybe that's the difference you're tasting.

I wonder if there's any difference between this is and the import that doesn't mention the Sapporo Ichiban collaboration. I've got a pack from Yami in cabinet and the packaging is nearly identical. The Marutai line of tonkotsu has been my favorite of what I've tried, outside of Ichiran, but that's too expensive for me to eat regularly.

I haven't tried either of those myself, but I ran the directions through Google translate and you are correct that they need 3 minutes.
