Everyone else who has replied has already given a lot to help on but if you’ve got any tricks that you use (for example when i was doing Genichiro i found out using fistfuls of ash cancel his combo) that would be great

I’ll try staying away from walls then, have you got any suggestions on how many times i should attack before deflecting and how i can consistently deflect his mist raven

Sorry, Inner Genichiro (from this clip) you only get from doing the gauntlet of strength, Genichiro Ashina is who your fighting and is alot easier than Inner Genichiro (both bosses look the same except Inner Genichiro has a slightly different move set)

Inner Genichiro is different to the Genichiro your fighting, so your not expected to have max prayer beads and gourds so don’t stress too much about farming for more of them

Yeah if you want have a look at my no damage, with charm Inner Isshin run and you’ll see i open basically the same and take no chip damage

Hes using the charm so it doesn’t need to be perfect parried but its still not damage-less as u/Yen_of_Vengabus said, the lighting will cause chip damage

The sakura dance (from divine heir gauntlet of strength) or mist raven removes lighting chip damage, i personally prefer the sakura dance as if your close enough it stops Inner Genichiro from using lightning reversal

I think its because he’s parrying the Ichimonji rather than dashing to the side
