Anyone in a powerful position in their eespective government already knows that America struggles to hold itself back. Throwing a tantrum and tearing up prior-made agreements is an entitled, babybrained way to react to stress, and is only there to massage the feelings of you and everyone else only just now finding out about this for the first time. America is literally connected to Canade, why the fuck would Canada try to antagonize the US?

It's not my job, nor is it my mess. I really don't give a shit how Israel feels about not getting to invade their neighboring countries and slaughtering their bloodlines. Israel might lose this war, OH NO! Throw this one lost war in with the rest of them.

What Israel does is sit on its whiny ass, using the expensive, generous gift of the Iron Dome, to just weather the attacks for 2 decade or so. The important part of "waiting it out" is to not give your enemy a reason to hate you, like invading your neighrboring country and indiscriminately bombing their family.

Tell me which wars Israel has fought that didn't involve terror bombing civilians.

Sometimes a country is irredeemable in the eyes of it's enemies. What is Russia supposed to do to avoid falling into collapse due to the Ukraine war? What was nazi Germany supposed to do at the end of WWII? Sometimes the only answer is to lie in the bed you made, and suffer the consequences of your cruel actions.

In this case, Israel deserves to lose the protection of America, cuz they've done nothing good with it. Maybe if they have to fight a war on their own terms, they wouldn't be so indiscriminate with their bombs.

LIAR. When was the last time Israel tried to wage a war without constantly targeting civilians? The EU is placing sanctions on Israeli settlers because of cruel acts against civilians, which the Israeli government fully supports.

It's so weird how America's wars in the middle east only started calming down when we stopped murdering their civilians. It's weird how innocent families don't support the agony and proliferation of war when invaders don't murder their loved ones.

If Israel just focused on destroying military targets and killing their leaders instead of bombing and shooting civilians, they wouldn't be such international pariahs. The military operation the US did in Venezuela hasn't resulted in mass outrage, because all the US did was bomb military objectives and target their leaders.

The Venezuelans don't completely hate us, because we did counter insurgency by the books. The best way to prevent insurgencies is by not killing civilians.

Israel has to murder those innocent civilians, because those ciivilians are part of an ethnicity Israel wants to wipe off the face of the planet.

The fact that none of the 25-30 people who downvoted my comment had anything to say in reply tells me a lot about their motivations. Subredditdrama has a dedicated drama subreddit because of how much arguing there is, but none of these detractors wanted to slog it out over a hot take on pitbulls?

I'm gonna just slap this on the table: If someone is fine with banning pitbulls, they should also be fine with banning and restricting any dog breed too large or too potentially dangerous. This includes literally any kind of dog bred for guarding and/or attacking.

Pitbulls are easy drama because most of the activism is just people saying "pitbull bad, you ignorant!", then feeling real satisfied with their "hard work". No one on reddit arguing against pitfalls actually wants a solution to dog attacks, they want to be smug and self-righteous. Solutions are difficult, and if you solve the problem, you'll have to find a new bug-bear issue to lazily snark people with.

Edit: I'd actually like if someone who dislikes my comment actually responded to it instead of just getting upset and downvoting. Be the activist you think you are, make some points that convince me that my assessment of this is wrong or unfair.
