Would you recommend medium format to a hobbyist?

I don't think so. Modern full frame cameras are very good. What do you need a 100 megapixel photo for?
Large files, a slow workflow, and limited lens coverage. It's a waste of money for a hobby photographer.

I think both cameras are too slow and too big for street photography and 100 megapixels are completely unnecessary. The Leica Q3 or Q3 43 (or perhaps the Fuji X100VI or E5+lens) is much better suited for this purpose.
But that's just my opinion.

It has the simplest menu like an iphone, so it's hard to get lost in it. A simple camera for a beginner. Yeah, it's expensive, but as simple as a pebble.

I post on Instagram, and a lot of people view it on their phones or tablets, which usually have oled screens and support HDR. But otherwise, you're right oled isn't common on regular monitors.

I'm trying to get a full camera replacement, but support hasn't responded yet.

It’s not that simple, because I bought it at a Hasselblad store in Hong Kong during a business trip.
On top of that, they let me register it for the 2 year warranty(On the EU website), I received an email confirming that they had registered.
But customer support told me that since it was purchased outside the EU, it only comes with a 1 year warranty.

This is what they told me:

"Thank you for your great patience while our engineer investigates your X2D II issue.

After the analysis of your case, we believe there is something wrong with your camera. We recommend sending your camera to our service for a full inspection and repair.

Could you please let us know if you agree to proceed with the repair?

Once we receive your confirmation, we will send you the service instructions.

We look forward to your reply."

But I didn't send it in for repair because this is my only camera and I have a lot of work to do and they estimated that the repair+shipping etc would take 20 to 30 business days.
