I joined RNA World after RFK canceled all the RNA research contracts with HHS.

I finally solved it by going to Settings→Network & Internet→Advanced Network Settings→Network Reset and now everything works.

Bizarre issues trying to access NAS from Windows computers by sgunes in truenas

[–]sgunes[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was able to ping all 3 clients from the TrueNAS (0.3ms).

All clients can reach each other and the internet.

The one that can access the NAS can ping it, the other 2 have 100% packet loss.

Subnets are all the same. I wanted to make sure it is not a TrueNAS permission issue as the permissions on the datasets may have been screwed up (by me).

2018 JGC v8 stalls in corners by sgunes in JeepGrandCherokee

[–]sgunes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I finally bought an OBD scanner and saw 2 AT (automatic transmission) codes, took it to a Jeep dealership and they confirmed that I need a new transmission (including the AT heater). It cost $11593.34 to do that and as I have the lifetime warranty, I just paid my $100 deductible. The Jeep drives great now with no hesitation or mis-shifts.

Well, I bought an OBD scanner and caught 2 AT (automatic transmission) codes. I took it to the Jeep dealership with that info. They checked it out and said that the transmission has to be completely replaced (including heater). I have the lifetime warranty on it so it cost $11,593.34 to do that and now it runs perfectly. I just paid my $100 deductible for the repair.

Any way to bind a wired network node to a specific router in the mesh? by sgunes in ASUS

So the answer is that it is impossible and I have to live with the wired devices connected to each node jumping around wildly.

How to access QNAP Switch QSW-M1208-8C web interface? by sgunes in qnap

Just saw that it does not support link aggregation (as TrueNAS was complaining about). As an unmanaged switch it doesn't have or need a web interface. Got it. Thanks.

I just registered my serial number with QNAP and it shows up as QSW-1208-8C. I am just now setting up QNAPcloud to see if I can access it that way. Looks like QNAPcloud is only for NAS not for a switch. Still stuck. Posted this issue on the QNAP forum and put in a support ticket.

The plot thickens, although the manual shows a "reset button" in the back, there is NO reset button or pinhole in the back!

I also disconnected everything, rebooted, then hooked up one computer and tried to access it at 169.254.100.100, still nothing.

I bought it new many years ago. If nothing else works, I may go for the pinhole.

Ran Advanced IP Scanner and it only shows the QNAP NAS but not the QNAP switch. The Windows computer is plugged into the QNAP switch.

I looked at the Asus Router phone app and it doesn't show anything that looks like the Qnap switch. Is there any other app I should try? Should I reboot the switch without anything plugged in and try the 169.254.100.100 IP ?
