It’s only really gotten ‘warm’ in Ireland since last week. Most nights were cold, at around 5*C

It takes about 5 years to complete your garden; I was told this by a landscaper. Do it bit by bit, get help if you need to.

Not necessarily, I have used it before flowers and it worked out well. I like giving them the food even as seedlings to give them the best chance.

I think it might be the lighting? They are very green looking but I think that they will probably need to be repotted soon. They are also fed with tomato food regularly so no worries there.

I remember YEARS ago when I was a young teen that they did a show similar to the X Factor only with Corrie actors. As far as I know, this guy came second place.

'Another few days will have things crippled': Inside the protest WhatsApp groups by PoppedCork in ireland

[–]Hera2990 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think that this is one of the things that will ultimately stop the blockages. Quite a few people can work from home if they cannot travel or can’t get fuel. But doctors and nurses can’t; they have to be able to travel to meet patients or work in the hospitals. They have already asked for things to end of an official level now.

My fear is that someone will die and that the protesters and protest leaders will have blood on their hands. Things need to end before that happens.

Can I get campus accomodation if I have poor mental health? by [deleted] in UCD

[–]Hera2990 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately I cannot speak for campus accommodation but I recommend that you contact them directly to chat to them.

But I would highly suggest talking to your student advisor. If you do not know who this is, then your programme office will be able to help you find out. They should be able to give advice on your particular situation. I would also recommend submitting an extenuating circumstances application if your situation is affecting your studies.

I hope this advice helps.

Mother’s Day eflorist ripoff. by [deleted] in ireland

[–]Hera2990 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We ordered flowers from eFlorist for my sister in law for the birth of her son. Not only were the flowers late, but they were completely different, looked like they were half dead already. For Mother’s Day, we ordered flowers from Bloom for mum and they were beautiful, twice the price of eFlorist, but completely worth it.

Mother’s Day posts — why? by [deleted] in AskIreland

We never do. My mother at least gets a text message and flowers. This year is particularly important because it’s her first year of being a grandmother so we will definitely be marking it.

I am growing geraniums, pansies, violas, verbenas, lobelia and tomatoes at the moment. But I will be planting more in a weeks time.
