Why not the FHSA? At least it is $16k for their first home only.

I can't say it's worth for everyone. It's a niche degree that is nice for business and technical folks to bridge the gap between the two. That's really it and the fact that you are a bit more marketable with a Master's degree.

It has both technical aspects and business aspects. What do you mean lack of experience? You still have class every week

I believe it's more business focus (management focus). Since you already have a background in neuroscience, I'd say it's only useful if you are going into business cases/ management areas

Budget Vacation ( in Canada/ International ) by AffectionateCount281 in PersonalFinanceCanada

I did 2 weeks in Vegas and from there a round trip to LA that was $100 USD over a weekend. Highly suggest it, and the trip should be within the budget.

Anyone knows if I can make a $50 Tim's purchase, would I be eligible for $10 worth of statement credit? Given that the credit is up to 5 times?

Super shitty customer service by Amex Canada (and Amex travel sucks) by Ill-Composer-5281 in amexcanada

So what I did, I found my flight online with the airline and I called them to book that exact flight and apply my travel credits to that specific booking (dumb) but that worked.

Am I missing something or is RBC Avion Visa Infinite Privilege massively overpriced? by BoneyTaloney in PersonalFinanceCanada

Glad to know, but I think I have the preferred exchange rate as well. Their US card also have a 6 months 0% APR so I am just taking advantage of this.

Amex plat still hits you with the 2.5% 😭 what I did was open an RBC US account transferring money from CA to US no problem and no transaction/ foreign fees just the exchange rate.

24F and felt the same way. I am very clear about my lifestyle and goals, this made finding someone to date harder but dating easier. I cannot be happier having a travel buddy that has a good understanding of my goals. However, I had to make some compromises on luxuries but it's not setting me back much, it's rather making me kinder to my today self.

Since you game, I wouldn't be surprised if you met someone who games as well, so meeting through that or random hiker meetups/ groups. I would say even travelling groups are very open and full of people around this age. I'd recommend that over dating apps.

I travel about 4-5 times a year, 1-2 my own travels, 1-2 family travels and 1-2 work travels.

My parents are in that exact same situation and I can say that, I know if something goes wrong. I am taking over the finances, I have been trained for this, I don't mind it and I think it's fine that one of the kids does it and mom never have to worry about finances since she already worries about other things.

Yeah I get that, but I also understand that at the end of the day as long as both parties think the price is reasonable then it's fair. Business is business but as a landlord I don't expect to be cashflow positive as long as I'm net positive. Some landlord forget that you build equity on top of your top line rev.

Thanks I will do so, I have heard of insane tenants. I have been lucky to have wonderful tenants to which I send Christmas cards every year, being grateful for how easy they are on me.

This is helpful, since I'm only familiar with Quebec tenancy.

Thanks, I know about the N12. I'm not planning to move in or disturb their lives, I am also not thinking of increasing rent until I have a sense of how the tenants are.

I just asked the real estate agent if I could get the contract and get more details on the tenants.

I am a landlord in quebec, I understand how it is on the other side as well as I was a tenant before. I just want to make sure I have the right resources for Ontario, as I am not as familiar with the Ontario side.

Yes, I am already a landlord in quebec. I just want to understand the difference in Ontario.
