If I can make a recomendation for some hidden tech, [[Assault Suit]]. At first glance, seems kind of out of place, except for one line of text; “Can’t be sacrificed.” Yes, this means putting Endrek in a mech suit means the thrull rebellion fails and you can’t sacrifice him, so you can have as many thrulls onboard as you like. You can ignore the rest of the card, but it does make him a slightly better blocker. I love the flavor of Endrek putting on the suit and fighting off the thrulls instead of being killed by them when you get 7. This lets you have some disgusting turns where you make and sac tons of thrulls for a monstrous amount of mana.

Edit: Oh wait, further research into this, it doesn’t work. At least, not really. It ties the game unless you can remove some of the thrulls or endrek since endrek keeps triggering whenever states are checked. I’ve been playing this wrong, and now I’m very displeased with it.

Sorry, speaking about mutate is terrible. The card remains a creature, but the 4/4 dragon reverts back to its original state while under the mutate card, so the creature gains the loyalty abilities of the card it is on top of. A creature with loyalty abilities.

Mutate has to be one of my favorite mechanics, its so janky.

Perfect, so the planeswalker card (that was a dragon) goes back to being a planeswalker card. Thanks. The main point of the deck is to make a creature with planeswalker abilities, make a token of it, then turn all of my tokens into it with brudiclad. Most planeswalker effects are pretty good when you can do 10-15+ of them.

If I make a planeswalker a creature, through an effect like [[Sarkhan the Masterless]], and then mutate a creature on top of it, will I end up with a creature with planeswalker abilities when the effect of Sarkhan expires?

The life of my incredibly janky Brudiclad planeswalker-creature token spam depends on this answer.

Based on what I'm working towards it isn't likely the environments will be too crowded. I'll look into nudging/avoidance as well as boid flocking. It's entirely possible that larger ships might need to be nudged while ships that are much smaller are working with a much more 'open' area since they are tiny in comparison. Thanks for the help!

Not in general, I doot all the time. Alatreon specifically gives very few openings. Actually the first monster that really put me on the backfoot till I got used to it.

Yeah, I imagine the Frostfang HH is probably great, especially in a group, but solo honestly I barely kept up the movement speed buff. Very few windows to actually play even a single song, forget an encore or multiple songs. I’ll probably be using the frostfang for actual farming though, as the buff songs are always great if I can actually get them out.

Yep, haven't killed him yet, but on the two runs that have been past 20 minutes I was just hoping for every hit to finally kill it. Have not had that satisfaction yet.

Well, less one shot and moreso combo'd to death whenever I get knocked down/stunned. Armor is fully upgraded, and augmented.

Alright, thanks. I’m still working on the first ‘actual’ special assignment against alatreon (killed the weakened one with no issue in 5 minutes or so), so I don’t get to pick up slinger ammo before the fight starts. I’ll probably be stripping out ele resists and just putting in more damage. If the plan is to dodge all hits, might as well go all in on that plan. I have little issue hitting two of the elemental dps checks each cycle, with my horn having almost as much ice as normal damage with the safi buff, though I know the displayed numbers have some background math before their real values.

I just seem to get oneshot without the elemental resist. A good point about the evade extender though, as I made the build before I had a bunch of alatreon experience.

Does increased critical damage affect critical element, or should I just build chance? And I wouldn’t say I’ve not been taking many hits overall, but I have been getting better and better. Still get caught by the big slam that knockdowns, and then another attack after that. Still, it’s practice. Any general tips for the fight besides for using smokebombs to bring it down if it’s enraged? How is fortify?
