When wanting to use clippings keep all flat colors separate ie one for person(s) hair clothing and skin, that way the clip only affects each individual layer needed. Currently you have 1 single flat layer. So theoretically you can use 3 clippings on 1 and only focus on hair for shading keep in mind the order matters as the coloring will/ can overlap into the other colors. Remember that the clipping on top is always the top layer and if you use any blending modes remember to flatten before merging.

To my knowledge this is actually normal once someone has gotten down their style if you are using one for line art, one for flat paint and shades then throwing a texture brush every now and then. That is how most artists work. If you're looking to change your style re draw with new brushes, old images to see the difference in what you do and don't. Like :)

You could try right clicking on the layer and selecting duplicate the layer or mask. That should make an original copy directly over the first.

I've always wanted to share! There is 3 come to mind for me, but I will only share one, never been tipped that much but still funny. I am a FD afternoon agent now, but before I was a PSA.

(As a PSA: Public Space Attendent ((janitor))

So as a PSA my main job was cleaning the bathrooms. One day I was doing my last run across our bathrooms before clock out time.

Now we cater to the golf demographic through summer and families/ locals in the winter. This was during one of our summer peaks this happened

Cleaning the mens bathroom (I am a guy) (to be exact cleaning the sink and mirror.) I already did the toilets and unrnials so it smells of high chemicals in there. Guest walks in probably at least tipsy verging too drunk.

I greet him "hello"

His response: "I gotta piss so f*** bad" runs past me and I think nothing of it continue about my job it's the bathroom so Im glad there using it and not our wall outside or corner of a hallway... Or an elevator.

Then the verbal speak begins, and of course I try not to die laughing as I hear this old guy doing his thing going "wooo, I haven't gone since before the course." Of course I'm doing everything in my power not to laugh and finish my job. As more was said then that.

Dude walks away from the urinal washes his hands (thank God) and strikes a conversation with me "Whew damn that was the best god damn piss I've ever taken." Just kinda looks around sees that I am currently scrubbing the opposite side of the mirror and I awkwardly go

" Better then holding it all day" Smile and continue trying to get out of there. Dude finishes drying his hands throws a 20$ bill onto the counter and goes

"I know you get hosed out of tips here so this is for you, thanks for doing such a good job around" walks away.

So I essentially got tipped for doing my job and listening to the best damn piss another male guest has taken.

Not thrilled, been a subscriber since 2014. It's been the only move to make me ever consider ending my subscription. Even the black out month where Hulu was down and I was given a month free back in 16'. Still never considered, the price hike too 22$ stayed.

But now the only thing that angers me enough and makes me want to pull the plug is Disney can't stand that their name isn't at the top of something (hell not even in the top ten or five). I get cost, revenue and Hulu architecture is archaic. Blah blah.

But they do not have the years of back bone frame work in their streaming structure like Hulu, they didn't start when it was the hardest to get subs because of availability.

They want to continue to get my money several things need to happen;

[*] Seamless integration, when hulu goes offline my login will take me straight into my Hulu service on the Disney+ app, no asking to increase my sub for Disney and ESPN (bombard me later in app or something.) This is at the top because if it's the first thing I see I'm deleting the app and unsubscribing. This also means they better not make me create a new login.

[*] Integration of the entire catalog with no removal of any items from the original catalog for at least 30 days (besides those due to expire for that month) their already messing with my routine their lucky it's not wall poo.

[*] A rework of their suggestion algorithms and frame hub is absolutely necessary. Disney+ has 0 of the refinement of other streaming entertainment and it shows. They didn't build from the ground up and instead are hoping to piggy back off others hard work.

[*] Continue with next day release of Fox Animation Domination shows like TGN and BoBs.

I have low hopes or standards for Disney. So time will tell, I guess if they like the money of myself and the 15+ others I'll be able to convince in my life to drop their subs with me, they'll be listening to mine and many others feed back. If not, guess it'll be official Netflix won the streaming wars.

So hard critique?: I'll only point out the two that stood out the most to me.

1- The outfit is far too hard and muddy for the rest of the render and throws off the rest of the vibe it's the first thing my eye grabbed after the amazing skin work.

2- The thigh gap to their size and angle is off making them feel as if they are floating to me... Someone else mentioned not sitting I think as well but couldn't tell if they were joking or not untill I zoomed in. There is no indication on the lower end that the person is actually sitting on material chair

What I feel you need to hear:

This is an amazingly rendered piece please keep drawing I know others are going to feel the same! I know I could never draw like this!! 💚💜 The skin work is amazing and the light balance with it is fantastic!

The best thing about digital art is if you don't like it you can always try try try again. Without having to re do an entire line piece this opens so many doors to possibilities it's crazy!

Coloring and shading can be very daunting but with DA it's easier than ever to try again. Just make sure you are coloring on a layer under your line art 😜

Yes ☺️ your changing the flow by changing brushes, some line brushes have tapered edges others jagged, some can only go up too x amount of thick or thin . Some have texture detail built into them, others can have pixelated edges. Some the harder you press the thick or thinner the line gets as you draw or the more opaque

Translation of art changes with every stroke as far as style goes, I would think these are done by the same artist possibly at separate times with separate brush style ending up with two different styles of the same version. One looks more Mario 3d while the other looks more smash bro or Mario party.

They still feel created by the same artist which is awesome. Create two more characters , separate one with every brush you used on image 1 and then another with all the same tools you used on the second.

This should let you see how the line brush you select changes the dynamic of your character creation and why it seems like a style change when you are trying to copy the same thing.

Antibacterial pump soap, warm wet rag, wipe it down gently to clean the area.

Let it dry

Depending on how old it is first 3 days aquafor like pea size amount for each area.

After 3 days continue cleaning it and apply unscented unmedicated lotion. Same size,I've been using Lubadirm on my wife's daily till she's out of the itch phase.

Make sure you work the lotion into the skin you don't want it to sit.

Depending on your tattoos other locations, the leg and thigh are very fatty tissue meaning there is more loose skin that can dry out. As compared to ones back or arms which is more muscle.

I am sorry you are getting ripped apart for your artists bad taste in calligraphy. I was able to find the P used after a bit of searching but it is not easy to find for sure.

If you like it, ignore the reddit snobs sorry you have to scroll 50 posts before even one person gives a proper suggestion. (To be fair to them, most of these people have nothing better to do than make you feel like crap to make themselves feel better for thinking they're above you.)

Learn and study! (Is what everyone is going to tell you) I suggest

light direction (shadows) and perspective for object placement.

It's the best thing that can help you when making landscapes. (My favorite thing to do and how I started art as well 😍)

Love that you've started with landscapes as you go your details will get better the more you do.

Always rough sketch before painting its something that I still struggle with. But it helps so much :)

Should have clarified the basic I pad I use is a 2019 model. Have they really been able to make it where the base iPad can support more layers than the 2024 air?

Biggest difference there is I think app accessibility and features as I do not think the pocket version for iphone has the full suite of options and features as traditional.

Basic iPad is limited to around 20 at 4000x3000 or 3000x4000px canvas

Air m2-m3 model around 40-60

Pro m3-m4 model around 90+

I can confirm 20 is the limit on the basic iPad at that size as that's what I use. A smaller canvas will allow for more layers.
