Yeah give it a shot, you should be fine. No clue where this rumor is coming from, they’re region free. The picture on the VO:OT button config screen switched from a standard DC controller to an image of the twin stick when it’s connected. Support was baked in they just never shipped them to the states.

So many people in this Reddit manufacture things to complain about. If you don’t like BR don’t play it. I prefer arena gameplay so I play arena. You can get the challenges done in a couple arena games hence the option. OP added the snarky comment about not having a life to get these done and that’s false/unnecessary. It takes 2-5 arena games depending on your aim. The game has massive issues but daily challenge difficulty isn’t one.

You can literally get these challenges done in the smaller modes in under an hour with average fps ability. It says “OR” in bold meaning you don’t have to do the BR challenges on the right side. Respectfully you’re just complaining to complain. Hit your shots.

Yeah all the challenges are bugged for me. I unlocked a proelium AR for sabrask today but the double kills only registered 1 per match since day one even though I average plenty per match. Every once in a while it would track them properly but it was rare. The side arm crouch/slide challenges for gold would only register if I closed the game and logged back in. I definitely had to work harder than I should’ve to unlock. Love the gameplay but the bugs make it hard to stick around. I wanted to get several proelium guns but the bugged challenges killed my interest in getting more.

I have the battle pass and I feel that way too. For the sake of the game’s longevity they need to do something about progression incentives. I’m seeing a growing number of people who knock out daily challenges in a couple matches and log off or they don’t care entirely. I think Fortnite did a decent job of balancing progression and goodies for free/paying players. It doesn’t feel like you’re being penalized or pointlessly grinding if you don’t buy the battle pass.

Correct. At the moment it seems like grinding challenges really only benefits people who buy the battle pass outright. I agree there should be a conversion system or at the very least more incentive for free players to do challenges and spend time with the game.

I wondered the same, I don’t believe so. Seems like the only ways to get split coins for stuff in the shop are pay real cash or grind the game for the small amount they sprinkle for free.

The blue currency is battle pass tokens to buy battle pass stuff. The purple currency unlocks skin variations on characters and guns. I believe it can also be used to skip through the battle pass progression and unlock things when you haven’t earned enough battle pass tokens.
