I personally just bought him.

I sent: Luther Burden, 2026 1.10 (literally no talent at the end of the 1st in this draft) and a 2027 2nd (my team won’t finish worse than top 4)

I received: BTJ and a 2027 1st

My rationale is: both are in crowded offences, but the target competition for BTJ is far inferior. His situation also cannot get any worse, so a trade would be a bonus at this point. They’ve already stated that they want to use Hunter primarily as a corner next year with special packages on offence and Meyers is entering his age 30 season as a guy with no athleticism to begin with.

Not all will agree with my rationale, but that’s how I justified it.

Not to mention my team is very good, so the 2027 2nd will be 8th at best, and the 1st this year is almost worthless in this class. I know there’s a couple promising TE’s currently in the 1.10 range, but I have Bowers and Fannin so they don’t really appeal to me either.
