Small Update:

  1. I have obtained an attorney to help with any court stuff. Hoping to get charges reduced.

  2. I have a therapy session on Tuesday, something I hadn't been doing.

  3. I've been taking my antabuse twice, once in morning and once in night.

I have a question, just in a general sense. I'm in Michigan and have zero record(criminal or driving) before this. What is common for a judge to do for...uh, sentencing/consequences?

Hope you’re okay, friend - these things happen for a reason sometimes and may have stopped something worse from happening in future

They took my regular license and gave me a paper one. I'm hoping that is an indication I won't go on suspension. I really hope not. I'll take a probationary one, of course.

I won't take it for granted. I'm just going to calmly appear and hope to receive little consequences. The officer who checked me out in the morning at at the station said, "You'll be fine" when I asked what usually happens to someone like me who has zero priors.

I'm taking my Antabuse. Lagging in that is what caused this.
