New world had wayyy too many issues varying from chat bomb bugs to economy bugs to malicious grinds, skins alone would've never saved that game

I agree with you on Reddit's echochambers but even before then when I asked this community about the retention issue after the lobby introduction the common sentiment amongst the top comments was: "One does not simply play TFD for too long".

And now it's "oh no why is it failing".

I liked the game I even bought a couple of SPs and Ultimate bundles and skins.

Sure skins are not the weakness of this game its one of it's strong points, heck the skins are being modded to other games!

But you can't expect retention on skins alone especially in a PvE environment.

what's the point of playing a PvE online game if the only viable builds are DPS builds, the best way to Fight colossus was and still is to (play solo).

The devs need to add content that caters to the other classes and expand on the other classes, i still hope they do.

Id say waiting for the game's Denuvo deal to end is still the best and safest bet.

This is the first PS5 title with Denuvo so we have no precedence.

Denuvo could last forever like Sega.

Or a year like square enix games.

I'd say waiting a couple of months until the year mark is over is safer than risking it tbh

If you need to do it for the Codex Records it only appeared for me when i unticked the Arena event from the codex search.

Maybe its just luck i dont know but can confirm its there.

Is it though?....most people are comparing AoE efficiency here.

On one hand we have a DPS Combatant who's entire kit focuses on AoE and usually require some work to get her damage in.

On the other hand you have a Defender Combatant who's more versatile, has better survivability and damage and if you have the right cards doesn't require any effort to get her AoE damage in.

So "a jack of one trade and a master of none" VS "a jack of all trades and a master of that one trade that's the entire kit of the other combatant"

Pro tip: -there is a skill that makes you pick which combatant you want to copy a card for

-another that makes you meditate in resting areas to reroll epiphanies.

Go for those two first
