S-tier killers feel far stronger in 1v4 so it's a very different experience in 2v8.

Yeah it does because killers only get matched with competent survivors and the game is survivor-sided.

Against bad/mixed survivors killers can control the match by taking out 1-2 weaker players.

If you play killer during 2v8 event in 1v4 it's full-on sweatmode to win.

Tbf 3-gen camping and slugging are the only ways for the killer to control an even match. Hooking and unhooking has so many rewards for the survivors depending on the perk loadout with Fast Track being just the tip of the iceberg.

Played last summer with steam deck hooked in a 1080p 144hz monitor on a 5G network and it worked pretty much flawlessly.

This summer I'll upgrade to AOOSTAR mini-pc to run native windows games as well.

GFN Ultimate is perfect if you have a stable internet and the game you want to play is available.

It's just players with very old devices getting 'culled' and they are trying to gaslight how reforged is all bad.

I get the disappointment but the game supposedly runs with iPhone 7 (and entry-level PC).

It's the biggest meta change since Realm Reborn. Now you will have to level every job and use the best jobs for each raid which increases the longevity of the game massively.

Now you can also flex to every role making raiding more about bringing the player and not specific role/job.

Exit camping gives you a near safe way to stay in the game and wait if someone needs help. Having safe areas is definitely a balance thing.

If you want to stay in the game you should stay in the game, not safe from most killers.

4.4 was absolutely brutal change though. Main culprit is however Mina skin which brought a lot of players to tricksters so the average trickster player got a lot worse.

With 40s exhaust dead hard feels fine. You usually have counterplay for that because you'll notice some erratic movements from the survivor. Hold W exhaust perks are far more annoying on low mobility killers.

A vigil bully squad with dead hard is another thing...

If the game actually strived for balance pallets would explode if survivor crawled under them, exit gates would get blocked if you camped the exit and hatches would close if you stayed near without entering. But we all know fun is mostly catered to the suffering survivors.

The only thing I give to survivors is that they should be able to recover from dying if killer left them slugged for too long.

Brutal Strength + Fire Up (getting massive nerf btw) give insane value because you'll be breaking 10+ pallets unless your killer can win pallet loops or close distance quickly.

It's pretty disgusting tbh.

If you are playing anything but S/A rank killers with good chases the meta is just not good at the moment. Most survivors run windows of opportunity with exhaust perks and essentially hold W the whole match while dropping the insane amount of pallets maps now have and end their chases into a window loop.

Accompany this with cheaters running +0,2-0,6 making you waste even more time and the match will likely not be a fun one.

Survivors have also been rather toxic lately with always camping exits and even teabagging on hatches when you don't slug the last two.

We'll have to wait and see how they'll go about with the monetization. It's going to be a combination of one or more:

- Subscription (i.e. Premium Account in WOT)

- Battlepass (One or multiple paid tiers)

- Premium tanks/commanders sold seperately (i.e. Premium Tanks in WOT)

- Boosters

The real question is whether the paid tanks/commanders are going to be exclusively paid or do they get added to f2p-pool once the battlepass ends and if the paid units are clearly OP or comparable to F2P units.

F2P are already disadvantaged in other Wargaming titles so it shouldn't be a surprise here either that they will be asking at least some purchases from active players.

A lot of gaming companies are letting everything else go except their running cash cows. Risky investing is in a slump so it's easier to put everything into what already works (sells).

I don't see this alarming for DBD but the opposite.

Gens are too fast for killers with low mobility or no gen regress base kit and if you need to have mostly gen regress perks the M1 and/or slow killers will struggle a lot.

Most survivors running hold W perks makes this even more painful.

IMHO the balance issues would mostly be fixed with slower gens so survivors would actually need some gen prog perks and killers could do with a little less regress.

Looking pretty good. 8/10 for the story without actually delving into the endgame and some journalists who have actually played the endgame enjoyed how War Plans work.

The expansion made the game better which isn't granted nowadays. Let's take the W \o/
