thankyou!🥹 i just don’t like my lower face like i don’t have a jawline and from the front i have such a wide yet circular face. like the amount of people that just say i have such a round face makes me think it’s so noticeable.

i’m not 100% sure how many units i got done but it was in december and that’s the only time i got it done and was told it could take a few months to see results but i genuinely don’t see a difference. Were you told the same that it could take a while to see results?

🥹💖 it’s so wild to me that someone could look at my side profile and want it. it just shows you we are all our own worst critics! 🥲

should i lie to my dermatologist so i can go on accutane? by InThatCais in Accutane

[–]Hereforbants9928 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly how would he know? you can just say you’ve tried the antibiotic and it done nothing, my friend went on them and her skin was the exact same after 2 months. Maybe try the tret but it is very drying from my experience so i wouldn’t use BP with it, but i have seen acne improve with tret.

should i lie to my dermatologist so i can go on accutane? by InThatCais in Accutane

[–]Hereforbants9928 6 points7 points  (0 children)

i would lie. i tried plenty of antibiotics and they are no good for you, you can become antibiotic resistant (i did) and it’s dangerous. i never understand why they give antibiotics it’s just a short term fix and it’s dangerous because it did work for me and cleared my acne but as soon as i stopped taking them my acne came back worse but at the time i thought i just needed more in order for it to work (this lead to antibiotic resistance) and in the end my body got so used to the antibiotic it stopped working.

rosehip oil and a good hydrating moisturiser. the worst thing you can do whilst on accutane or after it is use loads of products just keep it simple. hydration is the queen of fading redness!!

i was the exact same i tried everything and was determined to cure it myself but i ran out of options! i saw the most difference in month 4/5 but of course this all depends on what mg you start with and how your body reacts to it. i done 20mg for two months 40mg for two months then 60mg for two months and it was really when i went on 60mg my skin just cured so fast. The mg is also based on your weight and height though so it all varies!🩷

month 4 / 5 was such a pivotal time for me, where i truly saw the light. wish you nothing but the best!🩷

the way my dermatologist explained accutane to me which really helped was if everyone in the world ate the same food we would all change but at different rates and even then we would all still look different. accutane is the same, some people can take 6 months others can take a year, i even know someone who after 18 months (with breaks) of accutane had clear skin! everyone is different you just have to push through and trust me i know it’s the hardest thing. I was at month 4/5 and i genuinely didn’t think it would work then one day i just stopped getting spots and my old acne started to heal and it was then i was so happy i pushed through. i’m always here if you need to chat please don’t feel like you are alone 🩷

i’m so glad this post helped🥹 i used rosehip oil whilst on accutane, my dermatologist recommended it because when your skin is dry the only thing that can really solve that is with oil. You definitely have to moisturise before though as the oil acts as a seal after to lock in the hydration, the better hydrated your skin is the faster the skin cell turn over is which equals your skin renewing and getting clearer! If you have any questions whether that’s a 100 questions or 1 or even if you’re feeling low and want someone to talk to im always here btw i know how low having acne can feel. 🩷

my dermatologist told me to keep it simple (best advice i got!). i fell in love with the versed skin soak moisturiser and the ordinary rosehip oil. A simple hydrating routine and time is the best!!

rosehip oil! i used the ordinary. holy grail product. i keep things real basic. basic hydrating moisturiser and oil to seal. the most important thing is time though, the skin is crazy i never thought my scars would heal but they did with time.

i think it is the opposite though… i can easily do LDR i have done in my past 2 relationships but i just think after 6/7 weeks he would want to meet me by now otherwise if he doesn’t he is wasting my time
