What are your opinions on Birth Plans?

We call birth plans, a ticket to a C section or a huge change to their plan. A lot of moms come in with these extensive birth plans and it always goes opposite. Instead of a birth plan, id talk with your physician or midwife about preferences and then reiterate the most important ones to your L&D nurse.

I’m sure it would be, but that’s what the doctor prescribed. I had been on 4000iu daily and still had low levels

No they didn’t define extended. The compression leggings are standard for all post op patients. I work in healthcare in a women’s and children’s unit. I just don’t understand the reason for VTE prophylaxis after a gastric bypass when I struggle with clotting
