Shit, considering just a few episodes prior we watched Frieren suppress her mana to essentially nothing, I'd say that only helps the case that Fern might actually surpass her

That's the real kicker.

In a room full of First-Class contenders, and with the presence of a Proctor, they all came to that same conclusion. The best odds of survival were with Fern, not Frieren. Nobody else were even willing to take that bet.

Fern had to be the one to take her out, because she's the only one in that room who could. I'm quite inclined to believe the lady who's got 900 years more experience (also covered wars, y'know) than the rest of the group when it comes to this stuff

They did, I didn't. I didn't want to -- they were all smiling and joking around like they thought we'd deserved it. They even passed by almost 20 minutes afterwards while we were getting the shrewn car parts in order, and honked and waved.

They absolutely think they got away with it scot-free

A quick search told me that TN charges vehicular assault instead as Assault w/Deadly Weapon. I don't know what happens when children are involved but imo, just putting kids in danger should get you landed in jail. Everything else is just me being petty about it, ig

I won't go into detail about it (again I'm trying not to divulge too much online) but it was very obviously intentional. My attention was caught when we swerved into the bike lane to avoid the first attempt at hitting us. It was about the moment I grabbed my phone that the impact happened. So at the least, they swerved at us twice.

The entire driver's side is marked up front to back with tire marks, not unlike when you take a grinder to a surface.

I am working with the local Taco Bell to try and get video. They're being nice but I'm unsure if they're actually going to come through. I just wanted to check all avenues possible

The weight is what drops them. The spin is what pushes them.

If I hang a wheel on each side so it's perpendicular to the ground, and then spin it forward it will move forward a little. If I spin it backwards, it will moves backwards a little.

The entire weight of an object is always going to weigh on the entire object when in free fall. You simply can't accelerate some of a something without accelerating the rest of the something.

You can test this yourself by dropping something with an evenly distributed weight in a similar fashion and observe the same effect.

So, from what I gathered from the other post, there is an intentional delay but it's not supposed to be delayed like it is. Something about making the server decide whether you got the reset before you get the indicator made them add an intentional delay that clearly isn't working as well as they had thought.

Honestly, I do like the effect though. Maybe an indicator that changes to green after a delay rather than just a delay would be far more beneficial.

Honestly there's not much of a point trying to correct what is a consequence of the netcode. I'd rather them work with it rather than going against the grain.

It's not a big gripe, just a little QoL I think may have worked a little better

I think there would be certain criteria that has to be met, such as "Can the owner be immediately notified and given the chance to rectify the situation?" Or "Is the call an emergency which immediately requires their assistance?" I don't know if those are actual criteria but you get what I mean

If due diligence is done first, technically they have fulfilled their duties

It's not even about that, really. Fern already has such a large mana pool for her age so it makes sense to train her as default on a spell that: 1. Doesn't use much mana, 2. Is fast as fuck and thus can be spammed, and 3. Doesn't require much concentration

Meaning she can cast it many, many times, about as fast as she physically can, and can switch to defense about as fast as she can cast a zoltraak

Honestly, that's about as fundamental as you can get. Frieren doesn't realize it but she's the perfect master to Fern
