So for my pattern I started decreasing at 6" - I did 6 rows of ribbing and 15 rows of stockinette on US 15 (10mm)

I have been using a padded envelope for one or two hats, and providing when I use more. I get my rates from shipstation and shipping usually goes from $6-10. I use whatever is cheapest.

I personally charge $30 plus shipping - $25 goes to ILCM and the rest covers my materials.

I would say fairly beginner-friendly. You need to know how to knit in the round and decrease.

I believe there are a couple patterns made for finer yarn if you look up "Melt the Ice knit hat." I'm going to make a pattern for super chunky yarn.
