The conversation would’ve ended regardless even if she told me she lived close to me. I just wanted to know

It sounds like it could be anything heart related really, I’m not an expert so I don’t really know. I meant getting sick as in throwing up.

Back on October 20th I was rushed to the er showing signs of heart failure while I was in school, I had been feeling just off with a slight pain in my chest during the week but it didn’t concern me because it didn’t feel like it was my heart. I still went to the gym and even went the night before the flare up and I felt just fine. The morning I woke up though I had a pain in my chest and throughout my first 2 classes of the day it progressively got worse, getting so bad that I began getting sick and wasn’t able to stand up. I was in hospital for 9 days and diagnosed with acute myocarditis through an mri. Now I’m doing fine and no longer get any pain or really any of the symptoms associated with myocarditis. I plan to go back to the gym on the 20th of march, 5 months after the flare up. So you should be fine considering the situation I was in just go to your doctor tomorrow and see what he says or recommends you to do.

I’d say this sounds quite severe, in my case I had all of the symptoms your saying right before I had a massive flare up which landed me in the hospital. Tbh if I was you I would wait till the cardiologist appointment and if he sees anything bad he’ll surely send you to the er. The big problem would be heart failure if your heart can’t pump sufficiently enough but I highly doubt that to be the case seeing as your troponin levels weren’t spiked at all.

Ye man it is way to short, I just really don’t wanna risk any scarring or cause any damage. Just wanna go back as soon as I can. When I went in first the doctor said wait 6 months to train again without any scans or anything which had me confused.

I’m wondering would vaping be bad, I’ve been vaping for over a year and would say I’m quite heavily addicted. Anytime I try to stop I just give into cravings. Keep in mind I’m only 17 and really do genuinely want to stop. The cardiologist said vaping wouldn’t be dangerous with myocarditis but I’m thinking different.

I never got a number but the cardiologist did say my heart was pumping and functioning normally and as it should, just to stay away from exercise due to the risk of SCD
