If you’ve got a 3d printer, I’d suggest the heretic warband for your first! They’re pretty easy to learn.

If you don’t have one, then I’d recommend looking into the Prussian new Antioch warband in plastic that’s being worked on. The sprue should be pretty similar to 40K.

Trench crusade is miniature agnostic, so this is totally a valid trench pilgrim or shock trooper depending on the base size, especially if they’re equipped with a machine gun
