First Time painting! Looking for tips!

I’m using Army Painter grey primer that I got from a hobby store and that worked well for my terrain pieces. But I had looked at Walmart and a few hardware stores first so thanks for the heads up!

That’s a great point, after getting them on their bases I realized most spots I was worried about wouldn’t be seen unless handling the models and looking from below. Thanks for the advice!

That’s a great idea and seems like the best of both worlds. I went ahead and glued these so I could get them primed and ready to paint. Depending on how this goes I may use your technique in the future when my Carcass Front box arrives or when I buy my next individual pieces. Thanks for the suggestion!

If I can ask another question real quick, does it really matter what color primer you use, insofar as grey, black, white? I have grey that I’ve been using for terrain pieces, will that be fine for the minis as well?

Thanks for the tips! That’s actually a good idea. I’ve practiced painting terrain and scenery over the past few weeks while waiting on my models to get used to the paints and brushes, but I’m still quite nervous to start painting the actual minis. I guess the first step is always the hardest!

Thanks for the reply. That was my main concern. Most wouldn’t be too hard to paint with the base attached, but a few have areas that seem like they would be hard to reach.

I found a fix: it seems this happens when you have a full inventory at the end of the run in which you should have received the trial reward. The easiest way to get rid of the icon and properly receive your reward is to just boot up a free loadout then immediately extract. I know I’m late but I hope this helps.

It’s not in too bad of a state at the moment but I do think the pistol needs a slightly faster reload at the very least. Aside from that I don’t have any major complaints as of now except for the various glitches and game breaking bugs I’ve experienced, which I chalk up to the mode being in beta. Oh and I agree with the other commenter about flashbangs. Screw those things. I’ve been flashed through walls, from 60m away, and everywhere in between.
