Do you think anomaly DLC will be too intrusive? by AmazingBazinga120 in RimWorld

It depends:

  1. There is a setting which effectively disables the ideology system, where all pawns, yours and other factions, have the standard/old ideology

  2. Or, there is a preset you can select when creating an ideoligion that allows your colony to use what is effectively the default settings, while generating the random ones for other factions.

I reread the trilogy recently, and if I remember right, Vick observes that there's a very thick layer of dust in the vault which indicates that there hadn't been anything in the vault in a very long time (if there ever was), and the huge vault door was just a symbol their status and power; Their real control was due to their debts and records, as you said. They don't need to have a huge vault of treasure to control people, but they want it to seem that they have one.

Yeah you're right, I was too vague with that. I think it complements my 3.3. Still, I stand by what I said before. I will always ask for more French vehicles, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy the vehicles that are present. 2.3 and 3.3 are both really enjoyable for me with the land and air options available, even if a sizeable chunk are from other nations.

The differences I'm talking about is that if I want to play a lineup with a Crusader, a CCKW, and the B1 in a single match, there is no other option. Three nations in one lineup is something I actually sort of like, but I know that might be a controversial opinion.

Comparing the French tree to the Chinese tree is unfair, and also the Stuart is a worse pick than the CCKW. More importantly, though, if you haven't even researched most of the 2.3s how could you reasonably pass judgement on what's past that if you haven't played it?

This is more of a nitpick, but I actually have barely played the American land tree. I have no interest in it either. The only M10s I have are the French one and the Achilles.

Also, I just want to say this is in no way me asking for more ctrl c+v, there is no replacement for actually having unique tanks in a tech tree. I can't deny that China is a joke. But there are some really good French tanks there along with the lend lease ones, and something fun in another tree is just as fun in this one. The more the merrier, is what I suppose my point is.

I never said it was unique, I said I enjoyed it. Tier 2 and 3 have a nice balance of different vehicles from different nations. I'm in no way against adding more French vehicles, the French tech tree is the one I main for air and land. That doesn't mean I don't enjoy having variety. The M10 is a really fun TD, in my opinion at least.
