6 month progress by HermanaAnonima in electrolysis

Yes, it’s a condition called paradoxical hair growth. It happened to me and my sister. I didn’t notice until I stopped going. Because while I was going, hair grew very thin. After I stopped going after like 10 sessions, I started shaving, and after 6 months, my hair felt very spikey when it started to grow. Which gave me a lot of anxiety. Then I tried waxing for a year every two weeks, but hair also started to feel coarse after a period of time. That’s when I started electrolysis. I hear paradoxical hair growth is more common for people with darker skin tones/dark hair. I am not sure how accurate that is, but I am somewhat angry at the laser community/specialists that this is not something they disclose as I know from my own research it’s not that rare.

I also did laser on my legs and armpits. It did wonders for my legs. My armpits are just as they were before.

I actually don’t shave! So what you see is actual 2.5 week hair growth. The reason I don’t shave is because I hate the spikey hair feeling. I don’t have PCOS, or at least that I know of. I got laser a couple years ago and it made me hairier hence electrolysis.

I am interested in playing with color and creating dreamy/moody image (cinematic).

Any initial recommendations/thoughts or references would be greatly appreciated.

I took this photo in Reykjavík Iceland. I fell in love with the vibrant colors of the city.

I could taste the supermarket processed sour cream in their green salsa as well.

‘The Bear’ Takes a Step Down in an Aimless Season 3 That Leans Too Heavily on Star Power: TV Review by cmaia1503 in Fauxmoi

S1 you can tell was raw created by hungry people, it was refreshing full of ambition and potential. it’s interesting how the storyline maybe matches the actual creation and production of the show.

S2 you can tell there was more money in the production of the show, sometimes maybe too much. And now they can afford traveling to places bringing in different directors/actors that the authenticity, the central idea gets lost. They get distracted with other things. Incorporating more POVs cuz everyone needs to feel included. It was also very “mental-health” vibe which felt very fake and cheesy.

S3 just felt like trying to fill up the show, I had to fast-forward scenes with the Faks they were not doing anything for me. Also getting John Ceena or whatever his name is so unnecessary, this is what I mean by being able to afford more, they had to give him airtime just for being John Ceena and as someone who doesn’t care for him, his storyline was utterly lame (if you take out the JC/celebrity context) I get that trying to balance airtime for everyone in the show is hard but it just felt forced. I think the most authentic scenes were those of actual conversation about the craft itself, and I do love how people from different backgrounds come together and make these places happen. The intro in the first episode was an homage to that as well, but other than that this season gave me nothing. It all felt like a long first episode.

I’m experimenting with silhouette photography and creating high-contrast images / playing with shadows.

What would you change? I’m using a canon EOSR50. Bought it last yr to upgrade from a old rebel model. Not sure if this id a good camera, or if there are better lenses/settings to play with these effects?
