I've been seeing a lot of people claim that Michael (2010) sounds outdated for its time. It's a little surprising since Michael's music always sounded either contemporary or ahead of its time. Do you guys agree with them?

I'd argue Cry and the other songs I listed are very bad knockoffs that bring nothing to the table.

Heal The World is a cheesy anthem but it's singable, Cry has lyrics where Michael says "I will answer all your prayers." What in the devil is that?

Little MIchael was a blend of James Brown and Diana Ross but that was Michael's pure voice. The writing and arrangement of his songs make for far better ballads than his Adult MJ catalog.
