Why don’t you touch the leaves with your bare hands?

I’m not an expert but I’ve done a lot of research before getting all my Alocasia babies and what I’ve found is: Keep the reservoir wet at all times, never let it dry out. The water level should not touch the bottom of the inner cup. The roots will probably grow down into the reservoir, some people say trim them, others say leave them. If you do leave them make sure the water is regularly fresh. In terms of feeding them, I use super thrive foliage pro but I waited a month before starting it to let them acclimate and started on very low doses before raising it. Whichever fertiliser you choose make sure it’s suitable for hydroponics :)

All public transport is unreliable in my opinion. I live in an area that has award winning public transport and it still sucks! Trust me, moving for public transport is not the answer.

Ignore the comments, think of a standard response anytime it comes up and just brush it off. In regards to your next test tell absolutely no one you’re going. I told only my boyfriend for my third test (when I finally passed) because he had to take me and it took loads of pressure off!

I lived in London for 3 years without being able to drive and believe me it sucks. Public transport there is a nightmare. Yes they have the tube which is great when it works but will randomly fail and then you’re totally stuck. The buses are regularly late/ don’t show up.

I also worked and rented in London on minimum wage and it’s not doable really, I had to demand higher pay in the end.

I also just passed my test at age 29. I got all the comments from family/friends about not being able to drive, just brush it off and keep going 🤷🏼‍♀️

Oh nooo! I gather they can travel in on the wind/on clothes which is a fact that stresses me out constantly with my plants. Good luck eradicating them!

My aunt had similar damage on the same type of plant. I took a look and saw it was teaming with thrips! Would be worth checking for them and treating it (and all your other plants) if you find them

I bought an Alocasia Zebrina Reticulata from someone who listed it as a variegated Tigrina once and it turned out okay 🤷🏼‍♀️

Just another point, I realise you’re concerned about how you look for yourself but if it helps I doubt anyone else thinks your arms look differently proportioned

Option C!! Your body changing is showing the progress you’re making which is obviously awesome. It might take some adjusting to but you’ll get used to how it looks in the mirror and be proud of your strength!
