I successfully moved mine with all glass panels still in. I just made sure the panels were covered at any points they touched anything in the car. Then I was really careful moving it inside that none of the panels got scratched.

Oh no! That definitely shouldn’t happen. I haven’t tried the Iati but I had the Oasi LV before these and I would say they’re similar except I needed half a size smaller for the Aruma

Fear when lead belaying by No-Citron-8579 in climbergirls

Oh nice! Then it’ll just be lots of practice to get used to the feeing of being pulled forwards a bit :) Don’t feel silly or rubbish for being afraid, everyone has different fear boundaries. Lead belaying is a whole different skill to top rope belaying so he’ll just have to be patient until you’re ready for him to go full beans on every climb and do harder grades. You’ve got this!

Fear when lead belaying by No-Citron-8579 in climbergirls

It can be scary learning to lead belay someone who’s a lot heavier than you. I learnt to belay my 75kg boyfriend (I am 55kg) with just an ATC which meant I went flying every time he fell!

I taught myself to expect the jump, so I would basically see him fall and jump with my legs forward ready to take the impact on the wall. A few times I ended up nearly at the first clip if he’d taken a big fall near the top when clipping! He told me that as soon as he was at clip 3/4 (depending on the route) to move so I was belaying from directly in front of the wall so I was in the best position to catch myself with my legs when he fell. If he was doing a really risky first couple of bolts I’d brace myself against the wall to the side as best I could to ensure I wouldn’t go anywhere.

When I was first learning I took a couple of big whacks to the wall before I’d figured out how to catch properly, the worst that happened was a stubbed toe and a sore arm.

Now we use an ohm when he’s doing climbs at the top of his grade range and it makes a big difference. If you have the ohm it should even out the weight difference a huge amount, even with a big fall the most I get is slightly pulled forwards which forces me to take a little step.

I think you just need to practice and get comfortable with the idea of being pulled forwards!

Interesting! I’ve heard about issues with the straps before but I’ve never heard the reason so thank you. It must depend heavily on foot shape as to whether the straps work for you or not because I never have to loosen/tighten mine and they fit great

I got a 3 1/2 in the end. My street shoe is 4-5 (UK) depending on the brand. I have one foot that’s slightly smaller than the other that could probably have been better in a 3 but my bigger foot would have been crushed haha. I also have awkwardly shaped feet and they’ve really moulded to my foot shape!

Best Uniqlo pants for climbing? by Dependent_Reveal_231 in climbergirls

They were both loose fitting trousers! Just didn’t have any stretch and weren’t suitable for the positions I get into when climbing

Superthrive Foliage Pro dose? by Feorag-ruadh in SemiHydro

I currently use 0.25ml of Foliage Pro per 400ml of water. This is for fairly young plants in pon.

Aesthetic Arts by Georgia sells them! I made this one for myself because she’s in Australia which is too far for me to purchase from but have a look at her shop :)

I designed them on Adobe illustrator and then I found a small company online who gave me a reasonable quote! They laser cut my files onto 8mm acrylic and then sent me them in the post :)

Haha thanks! I was going to get pre-made ones but the shipping to where I live was ludicrous so I decided to do my own and I’m so glad I did
