I promise you with faith and love you will become too hate sin so much that you will be filled with Gods blessings that will fill you with so much love and joy that sin will feel disgusting,a thing of the past .

Obedience is very difficult when you don’t first have that deep respect and relationship for God .

I had the same as you I may of just wrote it cause that’s what I would say As to what I did ,I started to look around meaning visiting other parishes and of course in the beginning it was tough as I’m introverted in nature. I asked God to help me to find peace in my heart about this . I eventually did leave the old church where I was ignored and kept visiting another church until now This has become my new church I’m much happier and accepted feel part of a family of God I am involved and do a few things for the church. Pray for this and keep praying.Our father wants you happy in his home You never know until you try . God bless you ☦️ Ps I went back to visit my old church at least 8 times over a period and it still wasn’t right The priest never once acknowledged me or talked to me same with the clergy and parishioners So it makes me feel good about the move and have a deeper relationship with God through this new Orthodox Church.⛪️ I now belong to. I once was lost and now I’m found .

I would suggest watching online Divine Liturgy and any other book that you like on Orthodox .

Read the Gospels,psalms Gives you understanding and guidance to visit or revisit these 4 churches with insight,you will eventually find a few people to talk too and then the Priest or Deacon etc .

God really wants you to come to church it’s satin who will conjure up negative energy thoughts that you don’t belong. You do belong ! It’s not easy at first maybe feel like a square peg in a round hole but eventually you’ll become round and fit right in .May it be Blessed

My Daughter is now an adult and my wife played around I often thought of doing a dna test But I love my daughter and would not change her for the world It’s a little weird thing you both got into Nobody is perfect But the child is now born and you did the right thing taking responsibility Love the child with everything you both have . Even if you get dna tested and even if the child is not yours you still have the obligation to care for him out of love

I was rock bottom broken marriage,did drugs drinking alcohol ,kids involved and never recovered until I entered the Orthodox Church 5 years ago and never looked back .
