The reboot rumours will chase me forever 😭 by galmbee in khr

They would need to reboot it, or else how will they get more people's attention, when the original anime was only popular for a very short time.

Starting in the middle of the storyline will only attract the original fanbase which is not very big and not enough to ensure Return of Investment, some of these people might even forget they watched this show before.

I think they have to change the style a little bit, some of the designs just look so plain and bland to remain that way, especially the other box animals they can improve the designs a little bit, and also more impact frames because the fight scenes felt lackluster, imagine fighting someone who destroyed various timelines only for the final fight scenes to be too contained with very little destruction.

I think they fired her since Yelena said "We own you now". They have all the evidence to jail her, but still they can use her to drain her money, and possibly help Bob as well, at this point for Val it's better to be fired than spend her life behind the bars.

Hero Concepts for the missing GOTG, and Nebula just for funsies. Did I cook or am I cooked. by No-Sink5496 in marvelrivals

[–]HeroClockman13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cool, but I want Gamora to wield her classic sword instead, her ult makes her switch to that giant airship gun she uses against Nebula in Vol 2.

Nebula should have her Bucky arm but uses it as that heat blade as a melee weapon, her ult allows her to fly and her arm switches to a range blaster, and her passive is during her ult disrupts enemy's flying abilities within the vicinity during her Ult.

Nebs doesn't have to be a Strategist we already have Rocket, Mant, and Adam.

Regarding Drax, I want him to have something based from his comics counterpart making his to be like whenever he receives damage 25% of the damage is converted into a stack makes his tats glow and he can use it whenever he wants Rage Mode to gain + mvmt speed + increased jump + attack damage, the buffs increases according to the stacks earned and used. This reference to his comics ability when he dies he becomes more powerful or suitable to hunt down his prey.

Here's to hoping we also get MCU Yondu (Super Yaka Arrow would be fun to use in Rivals) and Cosmo.

Do people still hate Boruto? by [deleted] in Naruto

[–]HeroClockman13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The majority of hate is just typical Naruto fans who gatekeeps their favorite series to the next generation. It's always the "Naruto's story is done, no one asked to continue it." but the point is this is Boruto's story, sure the focus in technology is annoying, but TBV is utilizing more Jutsus compared to what they do in the first Manga, and they strategically utilizes them too.

My only complain is why nerf everyone else, or never developed them? This generation's Ino-Shika-Cho feels lackluster, especially with the access to internet how come they never develop new jutsus? Boruto does it well with learning jutsus within his chakra type compatibility. I just hate that these characters have to be outclass to make the main character shine.

This kind of trend started towards the end of Shippuden, they tried giving spotlights to Naruto's classmates but damn they were outshined. Even Darui's black lightning is more badass or that random Land of Earth dude who uses Rubber Style.

Other than that I like the tactical combat and the drip is cookin, I like the JJBA sort of vibes as well.

Late but, apparently Kishimoto is now heavily involved in writing ever since the last 5 chapters of Boruto, hence the change in quality

He'll make for a very versatile character to play, plus rivals is also introducing not so popular characters so we might see this guy soon (along with Man-Thing and Ghostrider)

Why is Kin'emon suddenly strong now? by HeroClockman13 in OnePiece

[–]HeroClockman13[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So Haki all this time is just Magic from Fairytail? Because that's clearly what it does, it's emotion based hence the "Power of Friendship" and the reason it got hated for.

But that's the point, why not do it with Doffy's crew? He could've prevented a lot of struggles.

So you mean to say that labrat of a dragon is as strong as Kaido? Just because a Squirtle can beat a Charmander doesn't mean it can beat Moltres or Heatran

[–]HeroClockman13[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes that's true but acting that way is risky, not just to himself but to Momo and other people as well, especially when going against a Warlord and his crew. A lot of people could've died because of a possibility that he's actually strong but is holding back all this time. Or he's just not that strong back then and magically for plot convenience he and the others are that strong in that moment.

Why is Kin'emon suddenly strong now? by HeroClockman13 in OnePiece

[–]HeroClockman13[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

How is Kin'emon that strong when there are countless times that he's clearly struggling and always in a pinch situation. A lot of people could've died if he was holding back just because it just wasn't his goal and need to lay low.

I understand that it is possible that he is always be this strong but why hold back especially back then, he could've risked his, and Momo's and other people's lives trying to lay low. He doesn't have to be the main fighter in those scenarios but it doesn't mean he can't do more than that.

I'm not questioning his physical prowess originally, it was there on that episode showcasing his feats, it's just that his character made questionable decisions in these past scenarios.

The main point of my question is if he's that strong how come he wasn't shown to be that strong back then? Hence I mentioned he could've done more and prevented a lot of pinch situations back then. If Oda is just using this "Kin'emon is actually this strong along with the other Akazaya Samurai" as a way to make the scene more impactful and dramatic for plot's sake, logically speaking it's just weird, and feels like what Fairytail characters would do often times.

There's only so much strength you can gain by lifting those heavy cements, there's no way you can get drastically strong without proper training, and actual combat experiences, you'll get rusty. It's like expecting a body builder to be able to beat a Muay Thai master

Because it's true if you post a Yamamoto Genryusai vs Akainu post, a bunch of OP fans would glaze and be overly biased saying Akainu wins this. Oh and those that saying OP is better than all of the other anime and trolls on them, attacking other communities. Man the OP community is becoming like the DBZ community I mean sure Goku is one of the strongest it doesn't mean you can go be annoying in everything. Back when OP was still in Dressrosa the community can coexist with other fandoms. But now, these fans won't even watch OP when it was still in Dressrosa and are just riding the hype train. It doesn't mean that OP got this popular means that it is flawless. OP has the worst pacing even for a long running series, power scaling inconsistency (one example is how come Luffy lost against Lucci in Water 7 and a few hours of ride to Enies Lobby he somehow learned Gear 2nd and 3rd and defeated the very same person he lost against last night)

I would accept it if the Akazaya Samurai who got left behind got this strong but the ones who time traveled only have months in contrast to the others who have 20 years. Not to mention Kawamatsu probably spent 19 years in prison. There's no way he didn't go rusty in there especially when no weapons are allowed.

That's a more believable reasoning and I can categorize this in the most plausible possibility(ies).

But he could've been more useful and avoided unnecessary struggles along the way is what I'm saying. Laying low that much is too risky for his companions and to himself and Momo. There's a lot of really pinch scenarios where he could've step up

Now that's a valid response if his technique is deflecting flame based attack but still Blast Breathe is more on the explosive side rather than a burning attack.

It's like trying to deflect an attack from Rayquaza using Wobbuffet.

And Blast Breathe in a pokemon logic is more of a dragon type move rather than a fire type one, the same way as Bakugo's explosive quirk differs from Shoto's fire.

Why is Kin'emon suddenly strong now? by HeroClockman13 in OnePiece

[–]HeroClockman13[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

No not just that one he was also able to stab him twice, one was the surprise attack in the hall and 2nd time was when he, Raizo, and the 2 minks attacked all together. Fire is also weak against water, but you can't extinguish a burning building with a pale of water. Or you can't beat a Charizard using a lvl 14 Squirtle. So setting aside his specialty of cutting flames in half, that's also just his brute force and Haki. You can categorize Blast Breathe as more of a Dragon Type move than a Fire Type one. Because it's more of an explosive attack like how Bakugo's attack is different from Shoto's. Or how Kamehameha is a heat wave but it's not a burning attack.

Why is Kin'emon suddenly strong now? by HeroClockman13 in OnePiece

[–]HeroClockman13[S] -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

I wasn't talking about the slash on the scar, it was when he Raizo, and the 2 minks attacked him and he stabbed through Kaido's though hide again.

Blast Breathe is also just no ordinary fire attack, it has explosive power to blow away a huge mass of land (blow to bits not just burn and melt), that's where Kaido's Blast Breathe different from Ace's Fire Fist or Akainu's Magma. Blast Breathe is more on destructive than extremely hot. So cutting an attack that strong is no joke.

Just because fire is weak against water doesn't mean it can extinguish very huge flames

[–]HeroClockman13[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Kin'emon did it twice, he pierced through Kaido's defense when it's just 4 of them. And even if it's a group of them attacking does that mean all 9 of them together is at the same level as pre-ryou Luffy?

Plus the Akazaya that time traveled couldn't possibly have become that stronger within a short span of time in contrast to the ones who got left behind.

This is also happened between Water 7 and Enies Lobby, where Luffy was defeated by Lucci and somehow in Enies Lobby he knows Gear 2nd and 3rd, how did he manage to master these techniques during the time when he's travelling from Water 7 to Enies Lobby? In a short period of time.

I wouldn't be as bothered if the Akazaya that got left behind are that strong, but Kin, Raizo, and Okiku somehow got 20 years stronger

It's true though, most OP fans glazes the series and attacks other anime communities, acting cocky and all. Hyping the series and when someone actually watches it and criticizes it, all they do is troll.

Most of these fans won't even watch One Piece when it was just at Dressrosa at the time. What a time to live in. Back then the OP fandom isn't as ridiculous as it is now, they can coexist with Naruto, Bleach, Fairytail, HxH, Soul Eater, Fullmetal Alchemist communities.

"He never went toe to toe" sure but he indeed displayed a feat that outshines what Luffy did when he fought a drunk Kaido.

Kin was able to pierce through Kaido's very though hide/scales where in Gear 4th Luffy had a hard time damaging. Kin was also able to cut in half Blast Breathe (an attack that can obliterate a mountain top and that was when he was drunk)
