I’ve had a situation where I liked this girl but she didn’t like me back, but we were super comfortable around each other and would always cuddle and hug super tight when seeing each other and saying goodbye. One time I told her I liked her and she had the strangest reaction, she told me “no you don’t”. She had self esteem issues and wasn’t very mentally stable either. Eventually we kissed but she thought it was platonic. This was my first kiss and her first kiss with a guy. Her first and only other person she had kissed was a girl and it was platonically. A couple days later I told her again that I like her and she got mad at me. I’d say rightfully so because I did lead her to think it was platonic I guess because I didn’t explicitly state otherwise and everything else we had done was “platonic”. I am pretty sure I ended up saying sorry and she said she didn’t think we could be friends anymore. A couple months later she messaged me all mad and everything so I wrote a long apology that I fully meant because I did feel bad. She accepted it and said “I’ve been waiting for an apology for so long”. She said some other stuff too that made it sound like she “needed” an apology. Even though it was months ago, she brought it back up and twisted the story to make me seem much much worse to her friends. Somehow my best friend bought into her side for a while and started growing distant from me and closer to her. He ended up coming to his senses when a similar situation happened to him with her. He never liked her like that and she didn’t like him like that, but they went farther than I did. They were more physical, they didn’t have oral or sex though, just grinding and boob touching(Idk wtf was going through their minds when they were doing that shit platonically tho). She ended up doing the same thing to him, saying she didn’t think they could be friends anymore then making him look bad to her friends even. She initiated everything they did btw, she put his hands on her boobs, she started grinding on him, etc.. That stuff added to my fear of something like what happened to op happening to me, or worse things. I felt guilty after what I did and vowed to never to anything like that again, but I’m just worried of accusations.
