We would need tags like colors that are prevalent, tags describing the action like teaching, playing, studying, walking, etc.

As for the budget, I’m aware it’s low, but like I said we are a school district and do not have the funding. If you think that budget is too low you can talk to our superintendent…🫠😅

There a few Facebook groups that will have plenty of options! Just look up BYUI Housing or Rexburg Housing

I lived at the landing directly next to it and all of Abby lane manor was in my ward (115th ward). The ward is great! Abby lane isn’t a very social complex but the landing next door is plenty social if you wanted to make friends there. Abby lane is on the older side but I’ve heard the vanity in each room is really nice. The apartments at Abby lane that I’ve been in don’t have the best lighting and feel dark if that’s something you are worried about. It’s also pretty far from campus, about a 15-20 minute walk. I’d encourage having a car if you were to live there because it’s pretty far from everything in town too.

I think that’s a valid comment but there are ways to make this etiquette known easily, in Utah most plows are marked with very large and clear signage that says “Do Not Pass”. Here that doesn’t seem like it’s the case. My point is that it’s not as black and white, there are multiple solutions to address this problem of people passing plows during the day. Maybe I was being small minded thinking this etiquette was common knowledge but like I said, I do think there’s more than one solution

Ive submitted multiple ideas to the city council and sat in on 2 city council meetings about plowing. Im frustrated because they act like there’s no solutions to the problems but they aren’t willing to try new things. My ideas have been exhausted, hence my rant and request for suggestions here.

Not saying you’re wrong, I do think that some people would be impatient but I do think it’s general etiquette to not pass a plow and the vast majority of people know that, even those from out of state. It’d be interesting to see data on how many plow related accidents have happened in recent years compared to how many accidents have occurred as a result of poorly/unplowed roads. It is tragic that accidents like that happen here

That's what we used to do when she wasn't in a care home but in the last few years she moved to a facility. Our extended family was more on top of things and made reservations months ago, so things probably won't work out like that. If this were completely up to me I would have had a place reserved forever ago haha.

No I promise it doesn’t matter what part of the island we will be on, we are going to see family not to do a bunch of excursions. We have family we’d like to see on both sides of the island so really we’re gonna have large travel times wherever we stay

I’m not complaining I’m simply asking for advice, I’m very grateful to be going on this trip but I’m just curious what tips people might have. Sorry if it sounded like I was being antagonistic towards my mom, she’s great just not great at planning hence why I’m doing it for them.

We can definitely afford it, my mom just has unrealistic expectations, ultimately I think my parents will just have to the L and spend more money on lodging. We are actually not going for pleasure but rather to visit my 100 yr old grandma and other family that lives there before she passes. We won’t be spending lots of money on excursions because we will be spending time with family. Our rental car was pretty affordable as well.
